About

Lake Park Golf Club is located below the Lake Lewisville dam, and was originally known as Oak Ridge Park. Make sure you warm up before your round, because no. 1 goes 465 yards with water in play off the tee. The next notable hole is no. 8, which offers a nice risk-reward situation with two small ponds protecting the green 312 yards away. With the wind, it is definitely driveable. On Lake Park Golf Club's back nine, no. 10 gives you the option to carry the lake with a 230-yard-plus drive, or lay up and leave yourself with a long approach over the water.

Bang for your buck!

Solid track, plays easy and wide open. Off the lake so wind is always in play. Greens were a bit bumpy and fuzzy. Staff is great! Overall great round for what you pay for.

Not bad for the price

If you are just wanting to go out and play golf and don’t really care where you play, then this is the place for you. The tee boxes are atrocious with divots everywhere. I will say the staff are very friendly and the driving range is very nice but that’s about it. We live in Texas and Texas is extremely hot and they do not have water anywhere on the course unless you want to pay $3 a bottle from the club house or cart girl. Also the course is wide open which is great but the holes are so close together I had people almost hitting my group on the tee box with a shank or someone would fly over the green!

Tee boxes need attention

Most tee boxes were hard a without grass. Also they need to collect the broken tees and have it clean up couple times a day.

Pace of play was great for a Sunday and a packed course. The course starter did a great job of putting groups together and getting them teed off. The course Marshalls kept play moving. will definitely play there again!!

Worst Backup on a front 9 I have ever seen.

First my tee time was pushed back due to freeze in the morning which I understand. So started 30 minutes late but my problem is that it took me 2 hours to play 3 holes before I decided to just go to the back 9. I’m sorry but $55 for a 2 hour front three holes is pathetic.
