The Tribute Golf Club - Old Course

One of my favorite courses in DFW but this round put a bad taste in my mouth due to the greens being extremely slow and poor setup of the pins. Not handing out Scorecards b/c of Covid was annoying and the flags/pins are the metal kind in the hole where the ball bounces out unless you perfectly die the ball in the hole. I've played several other courses during the pandemic and Tribute's pins have been the worst. We played that if the ball hit the pin, it was good. For the money, they need to speed up the greens and fix the pin situation. Rest of the course was in great shape and the staff was very friendly.

I when To the golf course join membership and may be play twilite game But I was in driving range with my friend to join how nice range and courses is. But two staff have cane very rude looking DOWN hitting ball range! I was very embarrassed! There is many golf course that very welcome ! For the greee. Fee staff is very rude !!!!!!!

Clubhouse is top notch. Nice bar/pub area.

Pretty good service and friendly staff at ProShop.

Very nice practice facilities with range balls provided.

Putting green matched the speed and undulations of the course greens.

Prevailing SW winds (typical for this part of Texas) coming off of Lake Lewisville provide the windy conditions that are a good simulation of true Scottish Links style golf.

Generous fairways make the course fairly easy, although the huge tiered greens will steal a few strokes back.

All in all, this is a nice course and one for the short list if you've never played true links golf.

Once you've played it though, it's just another course. There are nicer courses in the area for less cost, so it drops down the list for me. Try to get it at a discount if you go.

Me and a buddy were taking a golf trip to Dallas and wanted to play courses that are unique. This was on the top of the list. Amazing links style course that is a replica of St.Andrews and the views and layout were nothing short of awesome. Pace of play was great and had no issues. GPS cart was helpful since it is to the exact pin that day. Will definitely be playing again when I come back down here from Wisconsin.

It was very cold and the fog made it hard to see the holes but nevertheless the staff was great, very friendly and accomodating and it turned out to be a great golf day, will definitely be back.

I've lived in the DFW area for over 20 years and have played this course almost a 100 times. It has NEVER disappointed. From the moment you step onto the property you forget you are in north Texas. They have done a masterful job of replicating, not only the golf course, but also the clubhouse and the look and feel of the entire property. The conditions are reliably good with fast, but fair greens, well manicured tee boxes and well managed fairways. The price can get steep if you don't find a time through GolfNow but it's well worth it either way!

Good layout, nice staff. But the course was a bit too crowded.

Course was in good shape but very tough pin placement and especially in very windy conditions.

The course is in great shape, excellent fairways and the greens are running really true. If your looking to treat yourself to a nice round, book a tee time for sure

Beautiful course. Perfect greens and bunkers. Great conditions all around. Priced just right at the afternoon rate. I’ll be back and will definitely tell my friends they have to play here.

Challenging course. Breaking 80-90 is a decent score here.

Amazing turf and green. Real links course with much European flavor.

I would love to come back here in autumn where I can feel more links feeling.
