Stewart Peninsula Golf Course

Course is 9 holes that you repeat that causes delays on pace of play as they overlap. Very nice views and curse in good condition.

Very short course so could for seniors or short hitters.

Came in from out of town and booked Stewart Penninsula to play with colleagues ahead of conference in Frisco. I must have missed the fine print but this is 9 hole course that you play twice for 18 with two separate greens (red and gold) per hole. Slow greens with course in typical "muni" shape.

Clubhouse well stocked with beer, low alcohol drinks and soda (no liquor). More snacks than a 7-11 but no grille or hot food other than a hot dog roller. Inexpensive. Staff was wonderfully friendly.

If you're wanting a real, full 18 holes with a full bar and grille finish, this is not the goat track for you. If you're wanting to knock balls around while having a beer or three, this works.

Good course, cheap play, great views, friendly people.

Yesterday was very hot and fairly humid. I played by myself, so there was not rest between shots, which caused a loss of energy by hole 16. With all the difficulties, I still enjoyed the round, but after getting home it took me several hours r=to regain my energy. I tried to stay hydrated on the course, but still drank 48+ ounces because sometimes my muscles cramp up if I don't.

I will play another course next week, hoping that the weather cools off some the the Dallas area.

Layout and elevations make it slightly challenging. Water isn't as hard to play around as it may seem. Fun as always!

I thought this might just be some novelty 9 hole track on water. But it was so much more. Tight, technical, there are teo greens which make it difficult and obviously the water hazards. But overall it was not as easy as I expected. And it was nicer than i expected. Huge plus… golf carts were not restricted.

Will 100% be playing again.

The course is a 9 hole golf course with 2 sets of Tee Boxes and 2 sets of greens for each hole so they say it’s “18” holes but it’s not. You play the same 9 holes twice.

It’s got heavy water on both sides of almost every fairway, all the fairways are super narrow, and when there’s not water on either side, there’s water throughout the fairway.

Not bc it rained or something but just because it’s designed that way.

Tons of wind constantly.

Only play here if you’re an absolute golf legend and are okay with those conditions.

Super hard course. And not 18 holes.
