Stewart Peninsula Golf Course
About
Stewart Peninsula offers a nine-hole golf course along Lake Lewisville with dual greens on every hole. On the first round, you'll play from the red tees to the red flags, and on the back you'll go yellow to yellow. After a straightforward opening hole where the only real problem is a pesky fairway bunker, nos. 2 and 3 start a trend of interesting holes. No. 2 offers completely different looks from each set of tees. The right side pin placement presents problems because of the lake, and the left flag rests close to greenside mounding that will send balls bounding afar. Misses here should find the bunkers, as the recovery is not all that difficult from the sand. Stewart Peninsula's third hole is probably the signature, and a 250-yard drive will put you in prime position to go at the multi-tiered green. Avoid missing back right, as the up-and-down is especially difficult from that side.

This course is quick to play.
Interesting course. Narrow fairways and lots of surrounding water. Challenging but fun to play.
Solid
Not the prettiest track in town, but it gets the job done.
Fun Course, Sneaky Challenging
This is my second round at SP. The weather was perfect although the course was still a little wet from recent rains. It's a 9-hole setup with double greens, so you play to one flag the first nine and then the other flag the final nine. The course was in excellent shape and the pace of play was quick to moderate. The staff, both the clubhouse and the grounds, were very friendly. I enjoyed the experience.
I’d play it again for $30 or less
Sloppy and under cared for course. Greens were actually decent, but the sand traps are being overgrown with grass and there is a sign mentioning upcoming grass bunkers…so maybe that will be cool… I don’t know…
Super kind and friendly staff. It was the day after a rain, so I’ll give the course itself a little benefit of the doubt.
Had a great time
From arrival all the way through was fantastic. It was a challenging track, with the advantage of playing each of the 9 holes twice onto different pin placements. Got paired with three strangers and left with three friends. Will definitely return.
Fun course with good bones
Fun golf course, two sets of tees and two flagsticks to create 18 holes on a 9-hole layout; bunkers are currently undergoing a transition from sand to grass bunkers (with the amount of wind that blows in from the lake I think is a great idea from a playability and maintenance perspective); course definitely has good bones… played it in February so grass is still dormant… pace of play was a little slow but it was Saturday and the wind was gusting up to 30 mph… would like to return and play the course when the grass is out of dormancy and the wind isn’t howling
Windy fun
It’s fun and it was windy, good course good people
Great course for a great price.
Beautiful course on the water play the same nine twice with different pens par 66 with multiple part 3 per nine and a part five to end it other than a bit of wear and tear on the tea boxes. The greens are in perfect condition and very fun to play huge scoring opportunities and chances to shoot really really low scores. Also an easy round to get under three hours I’ve been here multiple times. It’s in between my best friend and I so it’s a great meeting spot with a water everywhere and beautiful views.
This course was fun to play!
I loved playing here! When I first arrived Ryan, the man up front, was in Green Bay Packer attire, as was the lobby, and I just so happen to be a packers fan, so need I say more. I noticed there was a bunch of packers calendars on the counter and I asked if they were for sale. Ryan said they weren't, but gave me one for free instead which made my day! Ryan if you are reading this Thank you again! The course itself was nice and loved playing with the view of the water. The water gaps you had to clear were manageable and gave room for errors on most holes which let you stay in the game even if you're not at your best that day. It was my first time there and I'll be going back. I only paid $57 dollars for the tee time and I enjoyed it more than courses were I am spending $100 so its very affordable and they vibe is welcoming. Everyone I met there, working or playing, was friendly and great to interact with!
