Formerly known as Arrowhead Country Club, Pinnacle opened in 1970 as a 9-hole track nestled on the cozy banks of Cedar Creek Lake. Tough times descended and the course was shut down before reopening with an additional nine and new ownership in the 1980s.
Dallas’ eastward growth has turned many onto the pleasant, rural atmosphere at Pinnacle Golf Club. Every hole is lined with trees and, despite its short length, the course is particularly tough because of the numerous dogleg fairways. Not counting the par 3s, 11 of 14 holes have doglegs. Because of the trees it’s recommended that you leave the driver in the bag.
The toughest hole is No. 15, a par 5 that goes 511 yards and offers a testy risk-reward decision. With a good drive into the wide-open fairway, going for it in two is possible by cutting the lake on the left side of the fairway.
Getting there : From Hwy. 175 east, find the town of Eustace and turn right on Hwy. 316. Drive. Turn right on Hwy. 316 and drive 5.5 miles to Clear Creek Rd. Turn right again and follow the signs to the course.

The only thing wrong with today's visit was that the beverage cart was not out on the course.
Friendly People Awesome Course
Staff is always welcoming and the course is usually in great shape. The leaves will get pretty bad sometimes but, that's my only complaint. I love it there.
Tight and tricky
The layout of the course is very intriguing. It plays amidst big beautiful trees, with fairly tight fairways, unusual slopes, and some small greens. The front nine is deceivingly easy meaning it's not, but in no way prepares you for the back nine. Buckle up, shot placement is imperative! Overall a challenging and absolutely fun course to play. Personally thinking about becoming a member even though it is a bit of a drive for me.
First rate
The staff was friendly, professional, and courteous. The course is difficult due to the abundance of arboreal hasards, yet invitingly challenging for me as a mid handicapper. The fairways were well maintained as were the greens. The state of the bunkers left a little to be desired, especially on the approach to the 18th green. The greens were fast and deceptive in the break. You need to be on your game when putting here. All in all a very fine course with lots of tricks up its sleeve. Enjoyed the outing with my two fellow players. Many thanks to Pinnacle for an enjoyable round of fun golf.

Course is in great shaping considering the winter we’ve had just weeks ago.
Doesn't worth the an hour and half drive.
Staffs are very friendly.. Course condition and layout are average. Two 5 somes groups are in front of our group. Pace is slow. You can find many courses better than this in Dallas.
