Formerly known as Arrowhead Country Club, Pinnacle opened in 1970 as a 9-hole track nestled on the cozy banks of Cedar Creek Lake. Tough times descended and the course was shut down before reopening with an additional nine and new ownership in the 1980s.
Dallas’ eastward growth has turned many onto the pleasant, rural atmosphere at Pinnacle Golf Club. Every hole is lined with trees and, despite its short length, the course is particularly tough because of the numerous dogleg fairways. Not counting the par 3s, 11 of 14 holes have doglegs. Because of the trees it’s recommended that you leave the driver in the bag.
The toughest hole is No. 15, a par 5 that goes 511 yards and offers a testy risk-reward decision. With a good drive into the wide-open fairway, going for it in two is possible by cutting the lake on the left side of the fairway.
Getting there : From Hwy. 175 east, find the town of Eustace and turn right on Hwy. 316. Drive. Turn right on Hwy. 316 and drive 5.5 miles to Clear Creek Rd. Turn right again and follow the signs to the course.

beautiful day
thought i would drive away from the busy courses in dallas on a beautiful day and visit pinnacle....great decision, was not crowded and the course was in good condition....had fun
First time back on a golf course in years!
A really good course! I used to play a lot of golf, but over the past few years haven't been able to play. The course is a little tight for someone that was never a straight hitter and the ground was a little hard, but I thoroughly enjoyed the outing. Beautiful and very affordable (good value) compared to courses back home. Pinnacle has rekindled my passion for the game. Will definitely be coming back!

Great place to be i recommend its to anyone I. Dallas area. Make the drive you’ll be happy you did. Beautiful course layout and you might even spot a deer crossing the fairways.
Beautiful course, but too wet
Love the course, but always too wet. Fairways always too wet and have puddles. Sometimes require cart path only on certain holes.
Perfect Sunday
Drove down from North Dallas to tryout the course. It was well with the 1.5 hour drive. Traffic was light on a Sunday, and was an easy trip. The course is in great shape, and a nice change of pace from our regular Dallas tracks. The trees are beautiful and make for some tight fairways. Our favorite holes were par 3's with long carries over water. The holes do not play along the water like Lands End, but you do get to catch a glimpse of the lake on a few holes. Staff was very helpful and friendly. We will be back for a Fall Sunday round.
It's A Gem
For the money, by far one of the best courses available to the public in all of East Texas. With all the of the rain through the summer, the fairways & greens are in beautiful shape.
Excellent quality stunningly beautiful
Picturesque beautiful course with pristine greens and fairways, oaks are stunning! Short course from the white tees, loads of holes you need to think strategically on.. flipping difficult course... I shot 16 over my handicap haha
Unheralded gem
course layout is tough and makes you hit different clubs throughout. Narrow tree-lined fairways keep this little gem hidden and at 25 to $50 a round, its the best secret in East Texas. Greens keeper and company have turned this place back around! Greens a a little slow except on a few of the heavily sloped greens. I can't wait to get back here now that the a rather has cooled down.
