Formerly known as Arrowhead Country Club, Pinnacle opened in 1970 as a 9-hole track nestled on the cozy banks of Cedar Creek Lake. Tough times descended and the course was shut down before reopening with an additional nine and new ownership in the 1980s.

Dallas’ eastward growth has turned many onto the pleasant, rural atmosphere at Pinnacle Golf Club. Every hole is lined with trees and, despite its short length, the course is particularly tough because of the numerous dogleg fairways. Not counting the par 3s, 11 of 14 holes have doglegs. Because of the trees it’s recommended that you leave the driver in the bag.

The toughest hole is No. 15, a par 5 that goes 511 yards and offers a testy risk-reward decision. With a good drive into the wide-open fairway, going for it in two is possible by cutting the lake on the left side of the fairway.

Getting there : From Hwy. 175 east, find the town of Eustace and turn right on Hwy. 316. Drive. Turn right on Hwy. 316 and drive 5.5 miles to Clear Creek Rd. Turn right again and follow the signs to the course.

Super nice surroundings, super nice employees, this is a diamond in the rough. Don't miss your chance to play here. I enjoyed the course and the views. I would say that #10 is their signature hole, it is a par 3 over the water and a very beautiful setting. I can't wait to take my buddies there. Hidden Gem in East Texas

Always enjoy playing this course when in the area. It is a bit difficult to find, but nicely located on the shores of Cedar Creek Lake. We played on a day following a large tournament so the greens were a bit damaged, yet playable. Very nice to see green fairways in the winter months. Restaurant has very good burgers and delightful staff.

I've been playing this course for years! the cost is always low and they also are on the golfnow.com promo and you can play for as little as 20 bucks or less on that. course is always in very good shape and is just challenging enough to keep you coming back for more!

Great course, fun layout

Great course to get away from the city. Fun layout and great conditions. Lots of deer out and about. Superb maintenance, fast and receptive greens, not the most difficult but no pushover from back tees. One of my new favorites. Great value on Hot Deals. Will certainly play again.

Pinnacle Golf and Country Club

Pinnacle is a beautiful country club on Cedar Creek Lake. The entire subdivision is very well maintained. Lots of trees and a couple of water features make this course challenging, but fun to play. The deer are amazing!
