Pinnacle Golf Club

Stacked Sunday morning and as usual a mix of let’s call them traveling players and local resident playing the course. To make a long story short hit a rolling fade towards the green and it was to close for comfort for someone but was in no way a danger to him or his group. So grandpa comes over to me and starts yelling this will be his only time to warn me before he starts stealing my golf balls. Then after our awkward encounter him and his group decided they need to stop play to let me play through. Then gramps proceeds to honk his horn on his cart during my drive. Really classes place to drive an hour to come play.

Great course I have played numerous times. Worth the money on Golf now. Only real issue is there was no water or cart girl available in the heat of the day. So if you go bring your drinks or load up at the clubhouse.

Fantastic course, great rates, and staff was super accommodating

Great layout and a challenging course, especially for first-timers. It's all about positioning off the tee and if you don't know where to hit it (or try to), pars are hard to come by. The biggest negative was the greens which were a little shaggy and slow. There was a bit of sand on them so they may have been punched recently. All in all, a very good round and I do look forward to going back.

This a beautiful, challenging course with lot's of trees, water, and deer. Staff is very friendly and it is a bargain on GolfNow. Very narrow fairways, so bring your "A" game, but it is worth the drive.

One of the best courses in East Texas. We love it there and the deer and other animals around the course only make it better.

Awesome course in very good condition. Love all the deer. It’s probably too tight on a few holes (esp on the back). Wouldn’t be bad if they removed a couple trees here and there to make it not quite as narrow at a few spots. My biggest criticism is that they evidently allow 5-somea which really slowed it down for us on the back as the group ahead didn’t let us go through and the Marshall didn’t hurry them up enough. We finally got frustrated and skipped two holes. But generally it was a good time.

Course was in good shape. We were not made aware of the flag removal rule until about #12. I had been wondering why the bunkers had no rakes available. Pace of play was slow on the front, but got much better on the back. Staff and other players were all very friendly. I'd sure like to play the course again!
