About
Hidden Falls Golf Club is a Leon Howard design that opened in 1974. The course cuts through a pecan grove on the front and what seems like an ocean of water on the back, creating two totally different golf experiences. Howard uncharacteristically left out water on the tight, pecan-lined front, with the wet stuff in play on only one hole. However this one pond plays a role in the best hole on the course, no. 4, which features a pond and waterfall in the landing area off the tee. No. 4 is rated as the most difficult. The more open back nine is dominated by water. No. 10 starts off with a drive of 200-yards-plus over the pond fronting the tee. A small creek comes into play on the next three holes, which lead you to the other signature hole, no. 14. Water lines the left side of the 14th, and the approach is over a small pond. If that's not enough, the final three holes all feature water in play off the tee.

Great course for the value!
Fun course to play. Varying levels of difficulty so something for all levels of player. No sand on this course. Greens in great condition. Staff is super friendly. Great day of golf!
Hidden Falls
Course is in excellent shape for this time of year, but being in the Texas heat, all courses are going to have dry/ brown spots.
Definitely recommend playing Hidden Falls
Just played a different course yesterday and twice the price, 1/2, the course ( T boxes so dry thought I’d need a hammer to set my T) fairways dry and cracking, greens were In pretty good shap

Great course
This is a fun course that’s very forgiving. The greens could be a bit firmer but they are in great shape especially considering the drought conditions we have been in.

Fun course near Lake Marble Falls.
With back nine more difficult than front felt like two diff courses. But back 9 greens were brutal and geese didn’t help. Course’s condition was overall great and staff was hilarious. Range is irons & wedges only w/ putting green as well.

Great day but tough course
Did fairly well on the front but the back killed me with all of the water. No bunkers but the water hazards are murder.

Excellent
This course is fun. It might strike you as being short at 1st glance but they keep the fairways green. Having played a lot this summer under dry conditions my 1st short iron shot, an 8 iron from 140, hit and spun back about 6 feet on a flat lie. I’m not enamored with such action but was surprised to see it as I anticipated the ball to release 10-15 ft. It had rained the day before but not enough to cause that. It just means the greens are healthy and in great condition. Well Done!

Second Time Here
I love this little course. First of all the staff is super friendly and accommodating. They know this course and they are proud of it. Also the pace of play on a hot morning like we had is super crucial. I got around in 3:35 with a foursome.
If you are in Marble Falls area try this course. Great value and in good condition.

Great course for all golfers
I love this course. Not to many obstacles but enough to give you a challenge. A couple greens were a little choppy but other than that it was perfect.

Hot Summer...smoking course!
When the experience starts with a friendly greeting and an awesome practice area layout the expectations for a good time are set. The course was trimmed properly, greens were in great shape for Texas summer and enjoyed the manage your game requirements of the water Involved back nine holes.

Shaggier greens than normal. Overly wet in front of a bunch of greens. Really slow - almost 5 hour round. Other than that, staff friendly as always, good value.

Hidden Fun
Hidden Falls is a little ways from any big cities, but it is a fun, challenging course, especially if the wind picks up on the back 9. Conditions were good, for Texas in June, they were probably above average. Greens were smooth and rolled very nicely. Bunkers need a little work. If you don't mind a short excursion, it is a great value.
