About
Hidden Falls Golf Club is a Leon Howard design that opened in 1974. The course cuts through a pecan grove on the front and what seems like an ocean of water on the back, creating two totally different golf experiences. Howard uncharacteristically left out water on the tight, pecan-lined front, with the wet stuff in play on only one hole. However this one pond plays a role in the best hole on the course, no. 4, which features a pond and waterfall in the landing area off the tee. No. 4 is rated as the most difficult. The more open back nine is dominated by water. No. 10 starts off with a drive of 200-yards-plus over the pond fronting the tee. A small creek comes into play on the next three holes, which lead you to the other signature hole, no. 14. Water lines the left side of the 14th, and the approach is over a small pond. If that's not enough, the final three holes all feature water in play off the tee.

Chilly… then warmed up nicely
Chilly mornin that turned into a wonderful round of golf. Wasn’t a morning for the fair weather golfer, so had the course virtually to ourselves…. Thanks for letting us be there.

It was a nice day to play but the pace of play was a bit to slow. But overall in nice shape. Sean like lots of weekends play. Probably better to play it during the week . Price could be a little less

Liked the layout, not long but you did have to think your way around the course. Greens were in good shape for this time of the year. Will definitely continue to be in our play rotation.

Nice course and people
Nice course and people, l have played it several times. The course is varied and challenging, but nothing impossible. No sand and some water on the front nine and a little more water on the back nine. The pace today was slow. I had a large party in front of me, which is unusual but I was not in a hurry. Had a new and slightly irritating experience. While I was waiting for the party in front of me to clear the ninth green, a Player behind me played through my game (While driving his cart up to the middle of the fairway on a 90° only day). I digress. As usual it was a great time, nice dinner with folks in the restaurant after 18. I will certainly be back many times in the future.

Great Course and Friendly Staff
Great course and nice layout. Fairways and greens are in pretty good condition even during the dry and cold winter months. Pace of play is good and other golfers are very accommodating if you want to play through. No sand traps on this course, but there is plenty of water on the back nine to make it challenging. I would definitely recommend playing at this course. It is great for beginners and seasoned players.

Non sand trap course
It was a cold 37° wet rainy day. Fairways were still nice. Not soaked. Greens still ran true. Pace of play was great 2 1/2 hour round we haven’t played a 2 1/2 hour around and at least two years.

Don't believe the reviews about course in great shape
Live in Austin and never played here. Decided to check it out based off the reviews recently saying this course is in great shape which is a bunch of lies. Greens were in decent shape but the fairways and tee boxes were not that great, dirt spots and random types of different grass/weeds.
If you live locally, then i would say play here but if you're not local, not worth to drive to play this course. Lots of better options to play in Austin for the same price.

Hidden Gem
Located in the southwest portion of Marble Falls. Convenient to get to. Course and greens were in great shape, with the greens being challenging. Clubhouse has an excellent menu and friendly staff. One of our go to courses!

I really hate to publicize this place for fear that the traffic increases too much!
The course is both fun and challenging. I love the layout. Just the right amount of water and trees to make you pay attention to what you are doing. The fairways and greens have been in good to great shape every time I’ve played Hidden Falls.
The staff is really what makes the difference. Great people who make the entire experience a good time. If you can get out of the pro shop, without having a laugh, then there is something wrong with you or the old guy from Kansas is home taking a nap.
