About
Hidden Falls Golf Club is a Leon Howard design that opened in 1974. The course cuts through a pecan grove on the front and what seems like an ocean of water on the back, creating two totally different golf experiences. Howard uncharacteristically left out water on the tight, pecan-lined front, with the wet stuff in play on only one hole. However this one pond plays a role in the best hole on the course, no. 4, which features a pond and waterfall in the landing area off the tee. No. 4 is rated as the most difficult. The more open back nine is dominated by water. No. 10 starts off with a drive of 200-yards-plus over the pond fronting the tee. A small creek comes into play on the next three holes, which lead you to the other signature hole, no. 14. Water lines the left side of the 14th, and the approach is over a small pond. If that's not enough, the final three holes all feature water in play off the tee.

First Time
It is a very forgiving course. I enjoyed my time there. Staff was great and course was in good shape. Got behind a slow foursome and a foursome behind us hit at us on multiple occasions.

Fun course
Great layout, greens are in great condition for January. Excellent job on overseeing for the winter. Price can't be beat. Not an overly difficult layout, several excellent risk reward holes. Worth the trip from the Austin metro area. One of my favorite Texas Hill Country courses.

Great Experience
Staff is very friendly and helpful. Course was in very nice condition. Greens were very good. 10:00 am start, pace of play was excellent. My first time on this course. Great experience all around. Would definitely recommend and I’ll be back often.

Friendliest Staff In the area
2 things that make me love this course.
1. Course pro at the front desk and the course Marshall are 2 of the kindest guys I’ve encountered on a course.
2. Course Marshall actually does his job at keeping pace of play monitored.
This is a fairly challenging course because it’s narrow playing on most holes. It’s not the most challenging with course obstacles though. Makes losing balled on shanks a little frustrating, but still fun.
We are beyond happy to hear you enjoyed a great day at our course. Positive experiences make lifelong golfers.
