About
Hidden Falls Golf Club is a Leon Howard design that opened in 1974. The course cuts through a pecan grove on the front and what seems like an ocean of water on the back, creating two totally different golf experiences. Howard uncharacteristically left out water on the tight, pecan-lined front, with the wet stuff in play on only one hole. However this one pond plays a role in the best hole on the course, no. 4, which features a pond and waterfall in the landing area off the tee. No. 4 is rated as the most difficult. The more open back nine is dominated by water. No. 10 starts off with a drive of 200-yards-plus over the pond fronting the tee. A small creek comes into play on the next three holes, which lead you to the other signature hole, no. 14. Water lines the left side of the 14th, and the approach is over a small pond. If that's not enough, the final three holes all feature water in play off the tee.

The staff is 1st rate , pace of play excellent and the course is in great shape .
Cheap golf at its best!
Hidden Falls is one of the best courses for the money in the Austin area. Pace of play is good, greens a bit fuzzy but for the money it was fine.

Fun layout and challenging
First time out and really enjoyed the layout. The conditions were good. Fairways were a tad long, and the greens Grainy but doesn’t stop you from enjoying it: I’d recommend it

Great all around place
Great course, fantastic staff, good condition of carts, the set of the course is challenging

Very Nice Public Course
Enjoyed first time playing this course. It was nice to have a person join us who knew the layout, since lots of doglegs and blind shots. Fairways are different grass than most I played and a bit high, but still good. Most greens in nice shape, a couple have some bare spots.
Pace of play was not good on front 9, then our 3 some jumped ahead on #10 as 4some stopped at clubhouse.
Much better after that.

The mower must be broken
I really hate to say anything bad about this course, the layout is incredible the facility is worth every penny if I lived closer I’d become a member. But the fairways were over an inch and a half long , it was like playing from the second cut all day
