Hidden Falls Golf Club

Found an incredible deal--twosome for $0.00! Took the drive to Marble Falls from Buda. Well worth the gas money! Similar set up as Quicksand in Wimberly, but much nicer. Course was in very good condition, staff was very helpful, course overview book provided, HUGH greens rolled true. Overall great experience. Wish it wasn't so far from home, but will make the effort to return.

Not THE best course ever but not too shabby. I like playing multiple courses and this one is tough to beat for 9.99 online. We even replayed for 15 buck cart rental. 36 holes for 25 bucks is great!

The greens had paint/fertilizer on them making them really green. The texture of the greens was a little rough but they seemed to roll better than expected. Overall I'll give it a 6.5/10. Its a short course but has its challenging holes. I enjoyed it!

Played in the afternoon and had the place to myself. Enough of a challenge to make it interesting but not so much that it is not enjoyable.

Took the teenage boys to the course today and had a great time. We were all really impressed with the condition of the course. It was fun because from the whites my younger boy could keep up with us if he was hitting 225 off the tee and 160 from the fairway into large greens. What a great gem for the residents of this community.

Even though the weather was somewhat damp the course was a pleasure to play. Without local knowledge some of the holes could be a real adventure. Knowing what club to hit off the tee is critical on a majority of the holes.

Course layout does not require long drives to score well. Only used the driver on the Par 5s and maybe 1 par 4. Par 5s are short and can be reached in two. Well placed shots will put you in a position to hit the green. Hitting the green is easy to do since the greens are SO large, which can lead to long putts and an occasional 3 putts.

Good layout with lots of twists and turns. Despite being a residential course, there's plenty of room to miss without meeting the neighbors! Greens were soft and receptive. Staff was super friendly.

Course is in need of repairs. Cart paths are in need of immediate attention. Grass on fairways need to be cut, as much as 2" thick in fairway. Greens were in good shape. Good value for the money. Loved the layout of the course with water features on back 9. Challenging.

Upon arrival, I got a warm friendly welcome and immediately felt good about coming out. The course was in great shape and the water hazards made it interesting and scenic. I would like to play there again when opportunity allows.

I like this course because there are no bunkers. Not too muc water either.

Greens were absolutely flawless! Beautiful!
Fairways and tee boxes were dead or ripped up for the most part.

I thought the fairways were a little dry and hard packed ground under. Greens were in good shape except there seemed to be a lot of unrepaired ball marks.

The course has no sand, all grass berms and grass bunkers. There is water that comes into play on many holes. Course definitely requires proper club selection to navigate some of the hazards. Fun course! Cannot beat the cost for the quality course this is.

I usually play this course during the week, so I can't really comment on pace of play on the weekends. However, I enjoy the risk/reward options. Several holes have sharp doglegs which entice you to go for it, but can be quite penal if you hit a bad shot, but give you excellent birdie opportunities with a good shot. Fairways and tee boxes are usually quite good. Greens are slow, but consistent.
