About
Pearland Golf Club opened in 1982 after Jay Riviere was brought in to build the course as the centerpiece of a residential development for senior citizens. Mike Hoelzer rolled through in the late 1990s for a redesign on this fairly basic 18-hole golf course. The short design features generous fairways and prominent bunkering around the undulating greens. Lakes and ponds have been added over the years and impact play on most holes. Trees have also been added over the years to spice up the flat, prairie-like course.
No. 9 is one of the toughest holes, a 440-yard par 4 that doglegs and has water. No. 16 is considered Pearland's signature -- a 554-yard par 5 that also doglegs and has water in play.

Decent course pro shop lady not so friendly
A friend and I booked a hot deal this afternoon at 12pm. I checked in first, older tall white lady checked me in. When she noticed a booked via GOLFNOW hot deal she made a snarky comment stating “We love hot deals around here” while almost rolling her eyes. She handing me the cart key and I wanted to take a look at the hats, I hadn’t taking more than 2 steps when she asked if I could please move the cart so they don’t get confused and I explained I want to look at the hats and she stated she assumed I was going to the grill to grab a bite to eat. 1 thing is assuming and the other is judging someone after taking 2 steps back. By friend checked in after me and I met him at the parking lot when loading our bags in the cart. I asked him if he felt something off while checking in and he had the same experience with her snarky/smart comment about hot deals. That’s the only complaint I got, the Marshall was nice and friendly

Well maintained fairways and good greens. Bunkers were in decent shape. Will play again and recommend.
Played 36 - Fun golf course
It is a fun layout and good value. Greens are better than average.
Course shuts down at 5:30
There was still light left to play but the carts started alerting return by 5:30, so my tee time was 3:10, barely got 9 holes. This course needs to offer lower prices if they are going to shut down early.
Great shape
I love that they continue to make this course enjoyable to play .. the greens are why I will be coming back.. the pro shop staff is always on it with there friendly attitude…
SAVE YOUR MONEY
Rough is literally regular grass, clean your ball after every shot, mud everywhere, greens keepers on the green when we tee off a par 3, 10 dollar drinks, no practice green or chipping area, doo doo mats on the range. Old walkers holding up pace of play causing triple stacked traffic. Most greens are sand. Go to a real course, this place is for geezers that play from the front tees and take 3 Mullies.
Good layout. Greens a bit slow but otherwise good course.
