Great track; a bit of a challenge. A couple of blind but fair holes. Well maintained and worth the money.

This is a fun and challenging course. You will not have an even stance on many of the holes. You will be challenged in determining your distances and aim depending on the lie and whether or not your shot is uphill or downhill. The designers of this course really knew what they were doing. I have played about 40 courses in the middle Tennessee area, and I would have to say this is one of my favorites. It reminds me of some of the RTJ courses in Alabama. The only downside is that it is more than an hour from my house.

good course - well maintained - narrow fairways - greens excellent shape

Pretty lay-out. Runs along ridge lines so you want to keep in fairway. Played from back tees so very long holes-couple of 450 yard par 4's. A lot of the fairways are sloped down into ravines if you miss it your in trouble. None of the fairway shots are flat lies. But, still loved the course.

Greens were in great shape. Fairways were in good to great shape. There are alot of woods surrounding alot of greens, if you miss youwill be in the woods most likley.

It takes me an hour to get to River Watch from where I live but it is well worth the drive. Challenging course that is always in great shape. Fairways and greens are in great condition. Shot placement is critical on some holes due to sloping fairways.

This is what I would call a targeting golf course. Placement of the ball for low handicap players is a must to make the approach shots. For medium and high handicap players the course is short enough to make the course enjoyable.

If you have not played this course you need to!!
You need to hit the ball some what straight to have fun here.

tough course but fun to play. if they got the clover & other broadleaf weeds under control in fairways it would be much better...greens are excellent! lots of cosmetics stuff could be addressed to make the course spectacular

This is a great course. However, Their signature hole (#13) continually backs up groups due to the difficulty. I waited on three groups on #13 and #14 through #17 were full as well. There is no marshall on this course to discourage slow play.

This golf course is definitely worth the travel time to play. Every hole presents a challenge to your shot making and creativity.

Excellent mix of elevation, water, and difficult greens. This is one of the best in Tn. The owners are great. We were faced with a tournament going on when arriving. This tournament was not known about when using a hot deal from golfnow.com so we thought the mix up would prevent us from playing. The staff made sure we were taken care of and this all occurred with a smile. They were great to us and that will ensure I go back as well as spread the word about their great golf course. It is tough, but has an extremely fun layout.

This is a fine yet challenging course. Fairways and greens are well kept. If you aren't a relatively straight hitter you won't enjoy this course as much. Fairways are tight and most greens are small. It is challenging for the best golfers... However, everyone will enjoy the beauty of this course! A must see/play...

Fairways were in excellent condition and greens were in very good condition. Very scenic course that is well worth the drive.

The course is in great shape. But missed shots will penalize.

This course is extremely challenging. A lot of elevation changes with dog legs, bunkers and water hazards. The fairways are tight on most of the holes and the rough is deep. It is the most challenging course I've played in middle Tennessee. When I played the course was in need of a manicure. The greens were a bit shaggy and the fairways needed to be mowed. On the other side of the spectrum, the staff there are extremely nice and very welcoming. The food there is amazing. I got a cheeseburger that could stand up against a Buster Burger (Murfreesboro folk know what I'm talking about) and Five Guys. The onion rings are better than Sonic. I got a great deal on here $15 for 18 holes and cart. This was my first time playing there. I shoot mid to upper 80's. I shot a 100 and lost 14 balls. If you play there, bring your A game and a good appetite. Your game will be tested and your taste buds will be pleased.

Good course, great layout, the greens are too slow

Great course with many challenging holes. Shorter hitters will have better success than longer hitters. Gotta play out of the fairway here to shoot low. For sure a great fun course that I will play several more times.

Hit it in fairway. Valleys are killers. Hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Excellent course for the value. One of the best maintained public courses in middle TN.
