RiverWatch Golf Club

This course is not very long, but makes up for distance by accurate shots. MUST keep the ball in play. Greens were firm, but not too fast. Fairways were in great shape. Will play this course again this year.

Lots of elevation changes and dogleg holes, the course looked and played great. It can beat you up if your not hitting it straight.

We golfed with two members that shared the course had gone into foreclosure a couple of years back. The bank has decided to take and maintain the course for a couple of years.

They are doing a great job getting the greens, fairways and overall course back into shape.

It is a fun course with great elevation changes and a diversity of holes.

great layout, getting back to top conditions. Good challenge from all tee boxes to meet your level of skill. Staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Course was aeriated and grass had not come in. To early in the year to judge.

Riverwatch is a great challenge which I like. The fairways are fairly tight and tree lined so you have to keep the ball straight. It is built in mountainous area so you have many elevation changes. The course is in great shape and is a awesome value. My complaint would be the carts charge wore down quickly.

Scenic holes, with tough greens. Make sure you pick the correct tees for your skill level. Very few can play from the back tees.

No houses in play. Very few blind tee shots. Change in elevation on about every hole. Tee shots have fair sized landing areas. Green side bunkers can be severe, but in good shape.
Greens vary in size, none flat, moderate speed.

Small, but nice new clubhouse.

Riverwatch is a hidden gem in Middle Tennessee. The course is always in great shape. The course design uses all of the elevation changes of the land to make some really great holes.
Hole #13 is incredible.

my only knock is trying to get yardage without having a gps. 100/150/200 is marked in the fairway but thats it. nothing on the tees on par 3's, nothing on sprinkler heads. also, pins are not marked front/middle/back and there are no pin placement sheets.

I've played here three or four times. The new clubhouse is very nice and the sandwichs were good at the snack bar. Overall the experience was excellent.

The course has been re-opened after being closed for a year. I was pleasantly surprised at how good of shape the course was in. This is a very challenging course,tee shots in the fairway are a huge advantage. The course is hilly,but very few blind shots. The staff is very friendly. I have played a few so called resort couses that were not in as good a shape. I will definately be back,and would recommend playing.

The course design is excellent. Good mix of long and short holes. Played from white tees (6000ish) and there was plenty of challenge due to tight tree lined fairways but no unreasonable tee box carries. Greens are small and very undulated. Due to course being closed for a year and changing management hands, the course was not in great shape but they are working on it. Greens were coming back from aeration and I gotta tell you, I think if they were fast, they would be extremely challenging due to size and undulation. All that being said, this is one of the best public tracks in middle TN if you appreciate golf course architecture and the challenge of playing the same. We can't wait to get back there. Wish it was closer to town!

Fairways in very good shape. Greens coming back after the closure. Bunkers need some help on some days. Overall this a pretty good course considering its remote site.
