5 hour round
Mid morning tee time or worse leads to a five hour rounds of golf. I have played the three times and it has taken 5 or more hours.. And what is it with lazy golfers not fixing their ball marks? Seems to be the norm on most area public courses. I fix five or six a hole and it’s still not enough. Bumpy greens don’t usually equate to low scores. The layout and tree-lined fairways are great, so hopefully the greens and pace of play improve.

Watters
My complaint is that we only saw the cart girl once during the whole time we were playing. That needs to change. The grill closed before we could get something to eat. Other than those 2 things my experience was great.

After the Storm
Had a tee time set for another course, due to the weather we had it was canceled. Found a time on Golf Now for WC for $30.00. Assuming it would be only 9holes it turned out to be 12 holes. Even though it wasn’t mentioned, this course did a fantastic job of getting the holes ready to play. It was a great 12 holes regardless. Only thing I would have like to see was the turn area open for a drink or food. It was enough people out to make it worth opening. Other than that, great job guys of allowing the residents of the area get out and play a round of golf after a huge storm!

Course well manicured
Considering two other courses in the area which currently has horrible greens, this course is well kept and maintained. Groups of 4 ahead and behind us and yet we never had to wait to hit our next shot.

Gresat course and in great shape after the spring rains
Was paired up with three other singles and a great experience. I was certainly the duffer in the group!

Part of the course was closed
This is a nice course but holes 13-18 were closed due to the extreme amounts of rain that fell the night before. We booked through GolfNow and didn't find out the situation with the course until we redeemed the reservation.

Great course but the greens are terrible right now
I enjoy the course most of the time but the greens were terrible today. Maybe it was all the rain we’ve been getting but the the greens were uneven and bumpy.

Slowest round I’ve played in years
4 hours into the round we were on hole 12. We finally just left. Would have taken 6 plus hours to finish. Terrible. Won’t be back.

Where are your Marshall's?
6 groups on hole number 6. Need Marshall's out there and more spacing between tee times. Great course but 6 hours is crazy. Especially in a Friday afternoon.

Good Course, used to be better
I have very fond memories of this course back when it first opened as Chase Oaks G.C. I have to say for most part I liked the old layout better. That being said Watter's Creek is a good test of golf and the rounds are always still fun out here. Greens were bumpy but not too bad - hopefully they will smooth out as the dormant bermuda comes back. Pretty consistant though. They have a great practice area but I wish they would have left the 9-hole Sawtooth course alone instead of replacing it with a short, easy executive course. Anyway, enjoy!

Great Local Course
Great local course to play for under $50. Thorough test of your tee shot skills with narrow fairways and trees cutting in on certain holes. They have had some flooding issues near 1 of the greens on the back 9, but other than that the course was in great shape for the time of year. If you get off in the morning before the crowds a round under 4 hours is a definite possibility. I really enjoyed my round and will be back.

Good value and challenge.
The pace and play was good even though the weather was overcast. I’m definitely coming back. Left too many pars and birdies out there.
The greens rolled pretty good for this time of year.

Accurate Tee Shots Required
This is a great course especially if you play in the morning during the week you can get 18 in under 4 hours. Greens were a little grainy but it was clear they had recently sanded them so that will get better with some time. Also, we had some bad storms come through the area. All things considered the course was in great shape and was definitely more than enough challenge for me. I would definitely recommend this course as a great value at under $50.
