Spring TX golf sucks
Dormant Bermuda grass makes conditions suck. Fairways and around the greens are hard pan
Solid Muni course but pace of play is aweful
Our round took 5+ hours on a Wednesday afternoon. Marshall was nowhere in sight or chose not to rush the groups ahead.

We crawled along on a Monday on a day with windchill of 38 degrees. Waited on every hole on tees and in fairways. Got to 12th hole and could see the rest of the course no one on 18 a 5 some getting near the 17th green. A 5 some coming off 16, another on 16 tee., and 2 somes, and 3 somes and a 4. All waiting. Most of the time a group on the tee and then us waiting. Loved the course played in 4:40 but should have been much faster.

Fun Course
Was a bit pricey on Sunday afternoon and crowded. The sand traps were in great shape and you can tell that the City continues to maintain it. Much better than Twin Creeks. Not a good a Heritage.

Slowest play in DFW
This course needs a Marshall so bad. They have tons of people in the pro shop and no one on the course. The group in front of us was 1 to 1.5 holes behind. We finally passed them and then ran into another group that was 2 holes behind. People: taking 10 practice swings doesn't help your game and standing over a putt for an hour doesn't help your consistency. If you're a pro, play a pro golf course,

warm January day
We had a great weather day to get out of the office and play golf. Course was in good shape. Tees and fairways had good dormant grass and the greens were rolling very true. Pace was a little slow (4:40) but that's pretty much the norm these days on public tracks. I was paired up with three other guys - two were allowed to be single riders but I was asked to pair up. Why? The starter was pretty surly about his carts and when we were allowed to head to #1. Great practice facilities here if you have the time to use them.
