Tanglewood Resort Hotel and Conference Center
About
Ralph Plummer worked with Arnold Palmer on the original Tanglewood design back around 1970, and Ken Dye and Baxter Spann came along for an upgrade in 1988. This challenging golf course overlooking Lake Texoma is difficult because of the water and wind. Be ready when you arrive, because the first two holes can ruin your day. Some say that no. 1 is the hardest on the golf course, playing 414 yards into a dogleg that's protected by a fairway bunker. No. 2 is longer at 444 yards -- you'll need a monster tee shot to set up a reasonable approach into the bunkered green. This hole has a slight dogleg to the left as well. On the back nine at Tanglewood, no. 14 goes 230 yards with water on the right, and no. 18 is a reachable par 5 with water in play on the first two shots.

Good course - probably a lot better in the summer
My father and I were staying at Winstar. We played that course several times and wanted to try something new. This course is about an hour away from there and was fairly easy to get to. Through the Golf Now app, it was $40 cheaper than playing the Winstar course. and was probably about the same condition as that one. the greens were super slick. It was nearly impossible to have the ball stop on the green. I would be really curious to see how the course plays in the summer when hopefully everything would be greener and roll better. Staff was super nice. All in all, had a good time and it was a good value for the money.
Solid course
I've played there a few times and its always good, its a place to score good and have fun
Good Value
Excellent round with the bulk of the membership playing at 11:30.
Overall conditions are very good and greens are great.
This is a great place to play during the week. Avoid the 11:30 MGA daily outing. There are about 30 golfers that go off at 11:30.

Used Golf Now to play again. Played behind a group 6 elderly members. Very slow. Hardly what I would call a resort course. There are a few very nice holes, especially #18. I just moved to the area and it’s close. Still enjoyable though.
Overall conditions are very good and greens are great.
Overall course conditions are very good. The greens are great. They have watered around the greens making chip shots a little sloppy.
