The golf course was in good but not great shape. The last time I played here was over 20 years ago when it was as private course . It was fun to get back there and play again . I will certainly be back next year !
Course needs a lot of work
Fairways hard gumbo. Needs watering. Greens are very bumpy and slow. Needs to be replaced. The course layout is very good but needs a ton of money to get it decent.
Just don’t!
I only paid $44 to play here and it was still $43 too much. Bring a hammer for the tee boxes and each green has about 10% of actual playable green. Heck, one hole had a “pin” in the fairway because the green had obviously been turned into a sandy beach for kids. I know they are selling or being sold but then stop stealing our money to play here. I’m embarrassed for the good folks who work there who have to do their best to handle the disappointed golfers.
Great Course
From the moment you walk in the staff is attentive and helpful. Course played great, wide open fairways. We will definitely be back
Could be great
Course still has 100's of downed trees from hurricane, greens on planation 9 awful. Needs better trimming around bunkers. Maintenance is lacking as they leave the cut grass all over course. It is getting bought out soon and I think in a year or so this will be an excellent facility.
Gotta work on the greens.
I like the layout, it’s never crowded, the staff is friendly, but they need to work on the greens. Too many bunkers on the greens!
Greens were hit and miss. Practice range grass could be better. But i understand the hurricane did affect conditions.
Getting better
I played plantation and enjoyed it. The other two courses are under repair but playable. Seema that there is a new management coming so hopefully they are going to work on the course. Love the people that I met and great vibe. Just needs work to get it back into shape… especially the greens.
Sliding downhill
The greens were terrible. The fairways on a lot of the holes also need work. The sprinklers were blasting on a hole so that was fun hitting our second shots. I played here in the past and it was in fantastic shape. That’s not the case anymore.
