Heat advisories over…game on!
Retired meteorologist here, did my homework and found some better rain chances to the south with the cooler temps thanks to the sea breeze. Greens were lush like they need to be due to recently dry conditions. Indeed on nine at Plantation after 7 pm a groundskeeper was busy watering the green, allowed me to play through. The clubhouse was a needed oasis…I advise everyone to take a. 10 minute break at the turn to cool down and refresh. Bare patches are forming…as they are most fairways in the area, but thanks to some Saharan dust, temps are closer to normal…golfers will return.

Country Feel in the City
The course made me feel like I was in the wide open country while being close to the city. Layout was challenging for the distance. Most par 5 holes are around 500 yards and accessible with good tee shots. Lots of mature trees and a great staff. I will be back soon.

Greens condition
The course is good in general, but most of the greens are in bad condition. I have played here several times and it looks like the greens condition have not improved in any way.
I was also surprised that with the high heat of July there was not drinking water available throughout the courses.

The course has a lot of potential but it may have the most damaged greens I've ever seen.

Good day at the Course
Played the Pecan-Plantation rotation; enjoyed the Pecan 9; Plantation 9 seemed like an afterthought to fill in rights-of-ways between houses. Fairways and tee boxes were well maintained; a couple greens were being repaired. I strongly suggest that water stations be added to the course. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I look forward to playing the course again.

Love the course, looking at becoming a member
First time playing, and so far I love it. The fair ways are great, but the greens could use some work. Depending on price and concessions we’ll see if this will be my first membership after graduating college!!!

Green on specan and plantation courses were filled with sand. It was like 6 months ago, and the condition only got worse!

Waste of money
The course is in horrendous condition, talked to a member and she said the course is for sale so they don’t spend any money on it. The only thing good was the bar tender he was very friendly and accommodating. I would never recommend this course to anyone.

Challenging
Challenging course layout that causes you to really think about your next shot. Only the greens were in poor shape on a few holes.

Making Progress
The fairways have come in nicely, but the greens are still horrible. Several of them have more dirt and sand than actual grass! These greens have been awful for several years now, not sure how the club members tolerate a course in this poor condition for that long?
