Good bang for buck, but not the greatest course
Course is cheap so it’s good if you don’t have another choice, but not the best course. Pins were placed illegally. I had a ball roll up to the hole and stop maybe an inch short just for it to roll back to where I was.
An average golf course
A mediocre course with no excitement. It’s hard to believe some players were hostile to Golfnow members and the threesome refused to let me join them after the starter told me. Last time to play at this rural club! ( No, not a country club.)

December 19 Afternoon
Pace of play was relatively slow and some of the players had no course etiquette - spending significant amount of time searching for balls!

Worth Hot Deal green fee
Staff and amenities were nice. Due to lack of water (hard fairways and sandy greens) and abundance of leaves (difficult to locate ball) I would not play for anything more than Hot Deal price. I look forward to improved course conditions.

Some greens need work
Most of the course was kept up but some of the greens needed lots of work. It was hard to tell where the green starts and ends. For the cost of this course, I would expect at least the greens to be maintained.

Sad to see the course condition going down hill.
The plantation course was in poor condition with tee boxes in poor to bad shape, several of the greens were unplayable with sand, no grass on greens, and many of the bunkers with no rakes in them. No bathroom facilities, no water stations. Sad.

You get what you pay for
The tee box was over grown and the greens need some TLC. There needs to be a marshal to regulate the pace of play because the group ahead had no one in front and wouldn't let us play through. It should never take almost 6 hours to play 18.

Nice 27 holes
Lack of water this past summer has hurt the course. A couple of really bad greens and one really bad fairway. Otherwise, courses were good for this time of year. Range balls cost extra $5 pp on top of greens fees.

Greens are in terrible conditions, sand traps!!! Fairways are decent, I would not recommend this course

Do Not Play This Course
Very rude staff and management. 2 of the 9 hole courses are in poor shape, with one of them “Grove” almost unplayable. Spend an extra $20 to play at a much nicer course.

Good course for the money
The course is decent and staff are awesome. Greens need work. It’s a good course for the money and not too crowded.

PGPCC is my home course
I've played at several other local courses lately and some are in poor condition while others are in better. I'd say with the heat we have had, and the maintenance that the course has been doing in several areas, PGPCC is in pretty decent shape. You can hop on any of the 3 courses and play without any issues, and still have alot of fun. People are friendly and the pace of play is comfortable. Last year I became a member pretty quickly after I was invited to play as a guest by a friend. I usually play twice a week now and my wife, son and daughter all like to play as well. Family time on the course is unbeatable, no matter how hot, dry or nice it is outside.
