Not worth the money.
Staff is friendly and amenities were fine. A lot of greens are in awful shape and almost unplayable. Good luck finding a ball that barely goes off of the fairway because it’s not maintained at all. Random spots in fairways hold water because of pipe leaks (the starter told us that). Absolutely not worth the money. I will most likely not return.
Needs work
The staff has always been rude, has not changed. Course conditions need improvement, tee boxes and greens are in rough condition. Not going back.
Very Nice Course
The course is in good shape except several greens on The Grove.
Good course under new management
Pretty good course. The greens were really slow and in so so shape. The grass on the greens was high and a different grass that you would see in the winter time or up north
For this course being “Private”, the greens were in poor condition. Most greens had half of the green space dirt and no grass at all. You can not putt so there is no point in keeping score.
Half and half... and a little less.
Tee boxes and fairways are in good condition.
The greens on the Pecan Nine were superb.
The greens on the Grove Nine were awful -- so bad as to be un-puttable.
And another problem, which will become more severe as Summer heat takes over-- THERE ARE NO WATER STATIONS on the course. And on the Thursday we played, NO CART BEVERAGE SERVICE either.
So, carry your own water or die.
Lowest career round
74, yay. Guess it is pretty easy course. Staff was cool…except, there were obvious cart trail marks right of the ninth green. Both carts in our group followed the obvious trail marks and got reprimanded by the starter at the turn. Um? Most greens were pretty good. A couple were rough to the point my ball missed several inches into the air after hitting a rough spot. Many tee boxes could use a hammer to get tee into turf. Not all negative…will play again since I shot lifetime best 74.
