Course is getting much better
I’ve played here for several years once or twice a month. The conditions had gotten pretty poor with tee boxes and greens being bare. Great news is with the MUD purchasing the course and a new management company the course is now in good shape. Remodeled clubhouse and restaurant are great. Dave Esch is still the head pro and now that he has something to work with the changes are impressive. Great job Dave and the entire staff!!
It should cost less
I haven't played here for a while due to the cost increase. While they've added some things to the overall club, the greens are in need of maintenance and the tee boxes are rock solid.
Pecan Grove Starter
The starter was rude and condescending. Not a good experience.
Great value
The course is in good shape.
Greens were good. Bunkers need some attention but with all the rain that is expected. Great pace of play. Friendly members and staff. Management is always striving to improve this course and it shows.
Pecan Grove
Glad they have nice actual sand in bunkers now, greens on Pecan need a bit of work, after much needed rain, course was decent.
Good Course - Improvements Noticeable
Play this course about every week. They put a lot of money into the fairways and they look fantastic now.
Needs lots of TLC
To begin with, the man working the pro shop was quite rude. Most other employees we encountered were friendly. Played Pecan & Plantation. Pecan was fairly easy and in decent condition. Back nine we played Plantation. It was quite a bit more challenging and narrow but in poor condition. Many of the greens were in bad shape. Several holes had chalked off areas due to standing water or areas they are trying to recover. Definitely got the feeling that the entire club in being renovated and lots of changes being made from previous times I have played.
Good course for beginners to intermediate
The course is challenging but good for us weekend warriors. I’m sure I’ll be back.
