Cold Ashby Golf Centre

Recently got back in to golf, first time at this course which found tricky in the foggy weather to start the round which had little impact on slow play but the was a society in front and held the course up big time as we (2 ball) only manged to ay 12 holes in an unbelievable time of 4.5 hours so finished as wasn't going to wait and another 2/3 hrs to fi ish, shame really was enjoying it until that point, will return and enjoy it probably

Amazing value for the facilities they have to offer!

Very hilly so the pace of play which was slow helps recover from the monster hills they have however the views make up for it!

Course was in good condition considering the very dry spell we have had recently the staff were welcoming and helpful the practice areas are well maintained just as the course was, the pace of play was good but I would say that the course is very hilly and would advise having a buggy if your fitness level is low we had a good round and will definitely play this interesting course again.

Lovely course in fantastic condition. Greens challenging with plenty of undulation. Some really interesting holes like par 3 220 yd downhill 14th with two willow trees guarding the green.

Highly recommended.

I was expecting the course to be very dry and parched. However it was fine. Running well but the fairways were fine. Greens really good. It was a bit slow with a couple of 4 balls that seemed happy to chat standing still rather the when walking. Other than really great value for money. We will be back

Cold Ashby is not a long course, but has many undulations making it challenging. It is also quite tight in places with a bit of water around as well. The greens had been recently top dressed and were a bit bumpy, but ran quite fast. General course condition good. Its been very dry recently and the course show some signs of that, but its perfectly playable and good value for the £25 we paid. It was busy, but not too slow. The clubhouse house is in good nick and does a nice range of food. We will definitely play again

Nicely set out course, quiet challenging not really a flat lie out there, very undulating and hilly. One thing I would say is don't turn up in your Ferrari or low sports car, the entrance road is in a very bad state of repair, even in my car it was bottoming out and dragging on suspension arms

Very hilly and pace of play very slow would not recommend

As nomadic golfers 3 of us played here after possibly three years

The drive down to the clubhouse was a taster of what was to come, and the course was as good..

So much to enjoy here. The course was in great nick, greens were a little slower than expected , fairways superb

Staff in the clubhouse were super friendly and made this a return visit course

The course is very hilly and not for those with any sort of mobility issues or health issues. A really challenging course that requires some skill to master. We had a laugh and enjoyed the views and the challenge. Would return once my friends have forgotten how hilly it was.

Really enjoyed the course, lots of downhill and uphill tees. Course was in great condition. Only criticism would be the greens, they were a tad patchy in places which did impede a few decent putts. For the cost it's a good challenging course.

Banging little course, that tested all levels of golf. With the slight wind made my nephew that he pays of 11 (age 12) work hard on his course management, and gosh was needed to help progress his game.

Will be returning in the near future
