Having read all negative comments I wasn't right sure .But what a delight to play great staff course in great condition really enjoyed it
Great value
Would be 5 star all day long but this is the 4th time of playing the course at various times of the year and the greens are awful. More like a beach than a green, 4 different times of the year that we played and they cannot say that it was maintenance every time. Such a shame.
Sandy greens.
Nice little course, but greens maintenance made them closer to bunkers than greens. Unplayable. Could not even put the flags in the cups as they were full of sand.
A varied course
Course was in good condition bearing in mind all the rain we've had,,fairways were wet but playable and the greens were in great condition...altogether for £20.00 pretty good!!
Hennerton Golf Course
A somewhat short but hilly course with tricky par 3's off cliff edges and sloping par 4's. On the back 9 there is a large oak tree on the fairway to negotiate from the tee.
Although the fairways were a bit muddy ( it was mid November ) they were still playable..
The course signage/directions were a little confusing or not obvious for someone new to the course.
Overall it was an enjoyable round that challenged our short game.
Quick play 4 ball
We played as a four ball. All four at different handicaps. We had a two ball behind us which didn’t push us and three ball in front moving at a really enjoyable pace..
The greens and fairways were amazing condition.
Not the longest of course.
Idea for a Saturday lunchtime tea off..
18 holes in just over 3 hours
I really enjoy playing this course. It never fails to deliver.
Nice course
This is a lovely little course. Not very long compared to others but some tricky holes. Front nine has a few par 3s some at 100 yards but still tricky. The back none opens up at has more longer holes which are still a test especially the par 5. Played in constant rain and the course weathered well. Greens in good condition and the ball runs well. Good value for money and well worth a visit for all standards of golfers.
