Sweetwater Country Club - Beware
Over the last 2 years, management of this private country club has really let things slip. They have started shrinking the greens (roughly 30% over the last year) and using questionable maintenance processes in their up-keep. For instance, around the collar of the greens, they have begun edging the outline of the greens like you would do your lawn. Also, the club has had serious issues with their bunkers on both courses in 2014 and they are fixing them in a cheap manner. The golf carts are horrible and you can find much better at some local municipal courses. Head Pro has no personality and overall attitude of this management group seems to be maximize revenue with as little expenditure as possible.

Sadly going to the dogs
Fairway grass is sparse at best. ALL of the bunkers are unplayable. Green mowing is the worst I've seen anywhere, gouges from mower and 2 or 3 lines defining green. Cup replacement not level with the rest of the putting surface. All the old cups are dying. Using fairway grass to patch spots on green. Mud everywhere sometimes 6" thick on the cart paths. Cart paths are so broken up it is best to drive in the mud off the path. Not worth the time. Much better value and courses in the area.
