Average course.
Average course. Kept ok but nothing special. Layout is a bit weird.
A bit upper class and snobby but doesn’t really warrant it. Wouldn’t rush back.
Also, booked our tee times after the cadets competition which was supposed to run until 1:30. But it was 1:40pm and there was still another 4 groups to go out. Had to tee off on the 5th despite one member showing reluctant to us doing so, even though they extended past their tee times
If we had teed off later than we booked, we wouldn’t get in for sundown. Poor planning. No warning from the club either. There was no chance it would be done in their 30 min slot so maybe they need to book a bigger slot for them.
So we do end up starting on the 5th hole.
Staff miserable and wouldn’t bother returning unless some changes were made. Proper snobby.
Romford golf club
Booked a 4 ball round on a Monday, once at the course the club captain advised us that one of the holes was closed for maintenance, this was obviously planned maintenance so we should of been informed when booking
Course is nice and worth £40 if you can play 18 holes

Romford GC - Great Course
Had a great time at Romford GC on Friday 28th October. Staff were friendly, greens were in fantastic condition and the course was a good challenge for players of all abilities. The fairways were not in the best condition, but this is understandable for the time of the year and we were clearly reminded before teeing off that lift, clean and place rules were in place for fairways. Overall it was a good course to play and a bargain at only £25.
