Course played well considering the rain we had, definitely improved in the last few years. Worth the money
A pleasure to play.
Considering the weather recently I thought the course was in excellent condition. No temporary tees or greens. And greens were excellent. Especially for the price. Seems to attract a nice crowd playing as well. Not much of a pro shop so make sure you are stocked up on your essentials, balls, tees , gloves ect. But would definitely recommend all year round.
Great little venue/course
Only slight criticism is that the grass on tee boxes and maybe greens just a fraction long. Loved it though and will be going back soon. Staff incredibly friendly
Great Course, excellent Greens & Fairways 👍🏽👍🏽
This was a really good course me and my friend played. Upon arrival the staff were super friendly, clubhouse had a welcoming vibe. We were greeted with a smile, simple and easy check in, soon as I gave my name they had a printout and quickly checked off our tee time and gave us the cards and off we went, literally 2mins with no wasted time.
They asked us if we played before, then shower us where the practice area was and then the 1st tee.
Practice green was clean and well maintained. The practice pitching area was very useful off the mat & grass area. Also had a useful net for full swing warm up.
After spending 20mins in the practice area we headed to the 1st tee. Very well maintained tee boxes and we were off.
Fairways were cut nicely and greens were immaculate.
Really enjoyed playing here, would highly recommend this gem in east of London, took us 30mins drive from Stratford.
For the price we thought the course was excellent value.

Good course, conditions not great
Course is very good but the fairways could do with a little TLC and tee boxes needed a trim
Very good course for value
The course is in good condition. The holes are drivable and not too difficult. Would recommend for any level of golfer.
Lovely course!
Played this course a very long time ago. Very impressed with the changes made to the greens. Speed was good. The layout was better than remembered. Fairways were in good condition. The pace of play was a little slow but the Marshall was very helpful in trying to get the few groups ahead of us to speed up so the back nine was quicker. Very friendly staff on the 19th hole.
Tee box
The course was in very good condition, the only bad thing I have to say is the tee box's on every hole were awful. Even when a ball was on a tee the grass was above the ball. It was like hitting out of the rough.

Course isn’t overly long, and very score-able. Greens were in pretty good shape
My only criticism I can offer is after the 3rd (might have been 4th) hole I don’t think it’s clearly enough signposted to head left instead of right (which takes you to the 16th, which is hard to notice as marker is at the back of the tee box not facing you as you walk to the tee box)
Bar area is decent, but the Guinness we were poured wasn’t the best. Maybe order a lager instead

Had an all round great experience at this golf club, I would definitely play here again. Super friendly staff and great course conditions made for a brilliant round
Great experience!
We played as a three ball and groups were well spread out. Course in great nick, other than the tee boxes. Overall highly recommend.
Turning into a little Gem of a place!
If you’ve not played this course for a few years and maybe written it off …then think again …!!!
Brew man magnet and new investment have changed this once average country track into a little gem of a course…
The place is steadily being transformed into a vey pleasant place to come and have a laid back but good guilty round of golf all off the holes have something to offer players at all levels… and the obvious hard work that the green keepers have put in is starting to pay off …. !
And when you’ve finished your Round there a quality Indian Restaurant 100 yards from the 18thTee !
Couldn’t ask for much better well done to all concerned!
Best course this year.
Stapleford is the best kept course I have played this year. Greens and fairways were immaculate.. we had a full English breakfast included in our round excellent value for money. The staff were very friendly especially Sam. I would easily recommend this course to everyone.
Interesting layout
Course was in pretty good condition. Greens good, not overly quick.

Great value had few 4 balls in front but pace was good . A challenging course nice variation of holes good value for money nice bar and food after
