What a day, weather was not to good bit wet under foot but overall great. Shoot 91 today so that was good for me. Will be playing here alot more I think

Great course. Good layout,very nice people will come again

I have played this course a few times in the last few months. The fairways and greens are in very good condition. Although, this time of the year it is easy to lose a ball if you stray only a little off the fairways. It is an enjoyable course to play, with some challenging holes. Play moves along nicely without hold ups. The staff are polite and friendly. The shop is going through an upgrade so difficult to comment on at the moment. I look forward to playing this course again soon.

Great location off the A1.

No directional signage whatsoever from the car park or anywhere on the Golf Course.

The pro-shop is closed and registration happens in the bar, where there is a select amount of golfing apparel to buy.

The course is open and fair but the worse thing is tee times are stacked and play is very slow. It took a two ball 2 hours 45 to play nine holes. Directional signage is poor, non existent.

Obviously it looks like there is investment coming but the basics need to be looked after first.

The girls in the bar were friendly and helpful all things considered

Great course well kept great greens good layout no stupid holes and rough. The course leaves you a good chance to score but you have to be playing well to take advantage. I am always surprised as to how few people are playing i drive 1 hour to reach here and it never disapoints me. Come on £28 on a weekend it's a bargain. Get in quickly as rumours have it as turning into a 9 hole course and another great course in the Midlands will be gone.

Great practice course. Not a particularly exciting course but the new management seems to be working hard to improve course conditions and facilities. Plenty of tee times and good value.

Course is improving as the summer goes on. Greens especially have been well looked after. Started just after a Society with 5 groups so expected a very slow round but they were friendly and let me through one group at a time. Finished in just over 3 hours. My only moan is the golfers themselves leaving their broken pegs behind on the tees, we should tidy up after ourselves!

Really good course, well maintained and challenging greens.

Would recommend to anyone looking to play in the area as ideal location and by the side of the A1

The course is great for beginners, it’s great value for money and the staff are super friendly. Driving range has plenty of bays. Bar has been refurbished and looks much better with a great selection of drinks.

Course is a little straight and not many holes punish you for wayward shots. Could do with some water hazards and the fairways could do with sharpening up, greens in great condition.

Nice course in good condition, look forward to coming back when fully open.

Considering that the course has been closed for 3 plus months and we have had little rain,I thought the course was slightly wet in places and the greens fairly slow and bumpy, but I’ve always found that Woolfox is a fair test for all levels of ability and even though I didn’t bring my A game fun was had by all

Nice course with some tricky holes very well looked after

Great course for beginners and advanced players! Some tee areas were abit smashed up, likely by idiots but clearly this can't be stopped by the green keeps.

The course is all round very well layed out, great challenges and some nice par 4s.

Will be returning soon.

Love playing here, some holes are quite challenging in its layout for a high to mid range golfer. The staff in the shop are friendly & welcoming. The clubhouse is undergoing major refurbishment currently however, there is a mobile catering facility outside if you fancy a coffee or bacon buttie. Very handy. The course is in very good condition, although the bunkers lack sand at the moment. Driving range facility is very good.

Overall a good day at this course. Will return.

Played here midday on a Saturday. Course was busy but was a very nice pace throughout the round. Greens and fairways were very well kept. Nice driving range and chip and putting green to warm up before hand. A very nice food truck at the 1st/10th tee for mid round snacking (beautiful). All in all an extremely enjoyable experience and very friendly and helpful staff in the shop.
