Wonderful
Played here on a lovely summer evening and the great course layout and condition made for a super time despite my indifferent golf. Highly recommended.
A hidden gem
I was greeted by the Pro who was very welcoming. He gave me all the information & advice needed and off to the 1st tee. The course layout and condition was excellent. I thought the greens were a bit on the slow side, but having recently played Woburn where the greens were about 12 on the stimp meter perhaps it was me. Not the longest course but plenty of trouble to keep you alert. Holes 1-13 are the best holes, 13 probably being the pick of them. 14-18 are not bad holes, just not the same standard as the 1st 13 holes. The club website doesn't do the course justice. Give it a go, you won't be disappointed.
