Tallwoods
Pace of play was good this time finished in 3 1/2 hours. Sand traps can use more sand. Very thin layer of sand then hard pan and rocks. Other then that course is in great shape.
Great Day for Golf
There are so many goat tracks in Eastern CT. This one is a gem. Not overplayed. Greens are in great shape, fairways are beautiful. Zero complaints. This is right there with Wintonbury Hills. Always fun course to play

Very well kept course. Lots of fun, excellent staff
Great Value
Tallwood CC continues to make improvements and upgrade the condition of the course. The greens are in great shape - speed is moderate and the green surfaces are smooth and consistent. The fairways also are in very good shape - particularly given the dry weather in CT this summer. If you haven't been to Tallwood recently, it is definitely worth a visit.
Staff in the pro shop and in the cafe were very welcoming. A simple lunch menu but good food and quick service.
Overall a great value for golf and lunch.
Tallwood CC Is a hidden gem
This course is extremely playable and gives a old school vibe, the course is well maintained and is fitted with various amenities, I will be coming back very soon.
Course is still in great condition
Tallwood stays in excellent condition even at this point in the summer. Conditions are great. From tees to greens. Go play Tallwood now!!
Very cool course
Quite a fun and challenging course with hole 2, 3 and 7 being a good challenge for an average golfer like myself.
Tallwood Fun
Tallwood was in excellent condition for the day after 3” of rain. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
We had a fun time and enjoyed the course.

Friendly staff , and course in great shape
Great experience from the start. Checked in online and walked straight to the 1st tee. Starter was super friendly and the course is in great condition. Pace of play was on time for the front, but the back was a touch slower. Ice cold water in several holes was very much appropriated .

Great golf course
Great course! The staff members are incredibly friendly, and the course is very well-maintained. The only downside is the lack of a basic shower facility. Other than that, everything else is top-notch!
