At the par-5 eleventh, the pond that guards the green may not seem all that threatening from this view. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 11/11/2024

…But most players will experience a heightened concern for the water hazard as they hit approaches toward the narrow putting surface. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 11/11/2024

A huge pond looms large over much of hole fifteen. On the approach lies a landing zone, however, for those who want to run the ball onto the green. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 11/11/2024

Tallwood’s second hole, a mere 302 yards, plays as a tight and tricky par-4. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 05/22/2023

The par-4 fifth hole doglegs right and plays uphill to this enormous green, tilted strongly from back to front. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 05/22/2023

Bold, long-hitting golfers might want to take a crack at reaching green 11 in two shots. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 05/22/2023

The fifth is a beastly but still quite playable four-par, its fairway rising uphill all the way to this large, contoured green. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 09/17/2020

Good course
Course was super soggy after all the rain we have had. Greens were slow because they were so wet. Still enjoyed my round. I will be back.
Very Rude Staff
I’ve been coming here for a while, recently it seems as if it is heading downhill. The course bunkers are often flooded, greens are very slow and pro shop staff is beyond rude. Save you money and play somewhere that actually cares about pleasing the customer.
Great conditions
Tallwoods is a challenging golf course with a nice layout and great fairways and greens. We played from the blue tips today so it was a little longer than I am used to and after 3 days of rain the conditions were on the soft side but no real soggy areas and puddles. Haven’t played here in years but will again as the course is well maintained and we had an enjoyable round.
Love this track...
This is some of the finest golf for your money in central Connecticut. Challenging yet fair...well kept...wishing players would take time to fix ball marks on the greens.
Nice layout food shaoe
Greens were a bit on the slower side compared to other courses around here.
Zaks day
it was cool and windy. Greens were slow and tees were good. Course played long and pace of play was on the slow side. There is plenty of trouble so ring golf balls.
good course
Well kept course some really nice looking holes. Wish i rode a cart pretty hilly to walk. Enjoyed my experience overall definitely a better than average public course. I would recommend it to anyone and only paid 32 to walk
