A huge pond looms large over much of hole fifteen. On the approach lies a landing zone, however, for those who want to run the ball onto the green. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 11/11/2024

Bang for Your Buck
Tallwoods is a very good test of golf. Conditions are usually very good and the pace of play is good. East of the river probably one of the best values around. Highly recommend this course.
March golf
A bit wet and cold but still well worth the time to play this course.Fairways and greens were a bit soggy after all the rain but still playable.Pace of play was fine and most people were walking which is good to see
.Plenty of yardage markers and good use of the sprinkler covers with distance written on then
Staff were friendly and helpful and will return again

Change of prices
Learned that senior discount is now 65 yrs old and after 1pm. That will stop my group from playing. Sure they will survive without our foursome.

No carts
On the site I purchased the time from it stated cart included. Tallwood wasn’t allowing carts yet so that made the deal not such a deal

Beautiful course
Tallwoods is a lot of fun and beautiful course surround by old Hebron farm country. Got a pretty good deal on GN but unfortunately they didn’t keep up with all of the leaves- which is near impossible on some holes. I lost over $30 in balls that were hit on the fairway or just off. Back nine was better kept and I think less tress/leaves in general. Definitely fun course though

1st time at Tallwood CC
Very happy with our choice to try Tallwood. Thought we were riding so we set up with a cart only to find out our tee time was for walking. Paid the extra for the cart since it was our first time here. Beautiful course and we will walk it next time. Had a wonderful day.
Pace
2.5 hour front nine. 2 hr back nine after a slow group left after 9 holes. Need to have a ranger to speed up slow play. Greens need to be cut and rolled.
slow
4 1/2 to play 14 holes no ranger no beverage . usually great course they had a bad day
Nice course but need to get rid of ALL THE GEESE
Another great day at this golf course.Pace of play was good for a Saturday afternoon and finished 18 holes in under 4.5 hours.
The greens and fairways are in good condition except for #18 fairway which was just about unplayable due to all the rain.
Watch out for golf balls from the driving range on # 18 fairway and #5 tee box as the netting and trees don’t stop all wayward shots.
My biggest concern would be all the geese and what they leave behind on the fairways and greens.Management needs to do something(Fake Alligators in All the ponds) as this is pretty bad especially on 3 or 4 holes on the back 9..
Would get 4 stars if geese problem was resolved.
I would recommend this course to all golfers no matter what your skill level is and you won’t be disappointed with the clubhouse staff who do a very good job.
Shaggy Greens.
Love this track. Greens need to be cut and rolled. The same conditions were present earlier in the season so I sense a pattern of shaggy greens here.
