Toft Golf Club

Course is nice, lovely and hilly, provides a good challenge on most holes. However, I’ve played here 3 times and every single time a different member of staff has had a dig at me for booking through golf now as ‘they get nothing from golf now’ if anything I continue to book through golf now just to annoy them.

Visited Toft for the first time in 10 years I think.

Good practice facilities for a quick warm up prior to seeing off, range and putting green.

Great service in pro shop, friend didnt have his trolley so hired an electric one.

Course was in good condition. Tee boxes and fairways showed signs of the very dry period we have had over the summer but this is understandable and not really anything that could be done about it. Greens were very good, ran true so no complaints!

Course is up and down so this posed different challenges for 2 golfers from the flat fen area! Enjoyed the challenge of the ball above or below your feet, hitting down from raised tee on a par 3 and some blind tee shots.

Only 1 negative from us. No target line indicators off the tee when faced with blind tee shots. I remember they did have these when I played many years ago but not this time. Its good to know where you should be aiming (even though there's no guarantee it'll go there!).

Overall - well worth the visit and will definitely return!

Great course, but as with most courses at the moment the sun has caused the fairways to be hard and the grass a little burnt. Greens however were in great condition

We had a great round at Toft yesterday, from the minute we walked in the staff were excellent! They welcomed us, had a good chat and couldn't have been more helpful. Even the groundsmen on course were really friendly and chatted as we were going round.

The course itself had struggled with the recent heat wave but they managed to keep the greens in great shape. There were some challenging holes, especially on the front 9 where there weren't many flat lies.

Overall the course was great as were the staff and I will be back to play it again!

Challenging mature hilly course with some beautiful holes and stunning 360 degree views of rolling countryside and farm houses especially from the top of the hill. Not much of it is flat so be prepared for some interesting lies and sore legs! Would certainly play again and recommend to anyone looking for an interesting course!

A challenging course with significant elevation. Course in great condition and the greens were excellent.

Off the fairway the rough is fairly short(so generally easy to find your ball) BUT quite thick making recovery more challenging.

Well positioned traps and mature trees make misjudging distance or direction turn quickly into lost shots!

Overall a great day out with my son and a friend. Thoroughly recommend a visit but be prepared for a bit of a climb on some holes…..

On arrival greeted quite well but advised not to book through golfnow as the golf club doesn't recieve any money from golf now. Advised to book with club as they could match any price given.

Second time at this course played back end of winter and thought it was worth a try in better conditions. Although the course look in good condition tees where well over played and very bare infact covered in sand, and in most cases very hard to find a flat place to tee from. Most of the greens where of different pase and impossible to read, I appreciate that this time of year things are still growing but a wooly lamb comes to mind. Also marker post are in totally wrong place's if your better than 10 handicap and looking to try and score. Worth society golf day on the booze. Not on my list to visit again. Opps some good views of countryside side.

Really challenging course, very windy but considering the time of year it was in very good condition.

Great course in great condition. Greens were quick and true in good nick. Tees most were mats to save the tees damage. Lots of quirky holes. Great par 3s wonderful set up of different and varied holes. The staff very friendly as well as most of the members who we met.

Fab course definitely be back

This is a hill course but reasonably forgiving. Fairly long par4's, espescially in winter for your higher handicap golfers. Greens were good and alot of the leaves had been cleared. A course map or a good app to see bunkers is beneficial. Would play again. Well done to the Toft ground workers and green keepers.

Really loved this course which was in fantastic nick especially the greens.

Despite the biblical deluge for a couple of days the course was in top condition bit of lying water near the Tee for 10th but no other wet areas

Good course with friendly staff and good amenities. Driving range slightly disappointing.

Some fairways boggy but considering amount of rain just recently the green keepers deserve a medal.

Great little course. Well maintained. Spoilt only by having to go off very small winter mats. Fantastic bacon roll and coffee half way round! Great day out!

Lovely course, great condition, really friendly staff, knew it was our first time at the course, popped out half way round to see how we were getting on. No real bar area, although there is a nice catering van, with places to eat and drink inside. Definitely be back.

Had a lovely round of golf and quieter than expected so never felt rushed and allowed to played at a nice pace throughout. Course well kept and greens in good condition
