Puerto Cancun Golf Club

It started as a pleasant winter day in Cancun, but by the 6th hole "the hawk" was out and this course showed its teeth. On a tame day, this course is a beautiful day in the sun, where your mid irons get their use, and your short game can save many a par.

The greens are fast and true and putting is a joy. The fairways are wide and trapped to capture the tee shot that is not hit from the sweet spot. They are soft, so you seldom role into trouble, but you also do not run out for additional distance.

If you are staying in the Cancun area, this is a great value for the money, as use of the full practice area is included with your green fee - the course will even provide transportation for groups of 2 or more, it you make your reservation a day in advance.

Pace was good,. We caught up to a group of 5, which thankfully let us through as a two. We generally don;t allow 5's out. Was slightly more expensive than the other course we played, and received drinks and snacks there.

They do provided transportation from hotel. It can be a a long ride depending on how many hotels you stop at for pickups and where in the zone you are staying. Course in nice shape.

Nice course in decent shape. No GPS so tough to figure out yardages and dogleg targets. Played at 1:30 and place was empty. Rental clubs were excellent. Got a great deal thru golfnow.

I played on an afternoon in June so you know I’m crazy. The course was challenging but fair. I loved the layout. The fairways and greens were well maintained as were the bunkers. Pace of play was as fast as I wanted to go (it was a JUNE afternoon). Staff was helpful and friendly. I taught the bartender how to make a great top shelf margarita. After play of course.

Pricey unless you get a great deal on your favorite golf app. Very convenient to downtown Cancun. I would do it again! But NOT in June.

Puerto Cancun

I have been coming to the Cancun area for over 30 years. Have played most of the golf courses in the area. I purchased a place on Isla Mujeres 14 years ago. I just wanted a course that felt like home.

This course has it all! The staff, course conditions, course layout, price, new carts, the staff is the most considerate and nice you will find. They treat everyone like they’re your best friend. Some of the fairways are narrow and challenging then it will open up to a wide fairway. You will play along several lagoons and of course you will play a few holes next to the Caribbean. If your lucky you might spot a gator sunning on a fairway.

I know there is not another course in this area of the quality for the price you will pay.

My hat is off to the fine staff and management at Puerto Cancun.

The course in really good condition. The only problem was the bunkers. Maybe because they had rain the night before I played, and one bunkers I think was 16. It look like a golf cart was 4wheeling on the bunkers. Other then that. The course. Was in really good shape. And if your not a ling hitter. Stick to the white tees

Beautiful area with nice homes. Course is a nice country club layout. Greens and fairways were awesome.

The course was in great shape. The staff are friendly. Some narrow fairways with jungle and water on the sides, so expect to lose some balls!

The greens rolled a bit slow and lots of construction going on... with faster greens and all the construction finished... this will be 5 stars all the way!

We got to play this course with cart and range balls for $80 through the hot deal. Well worth the money and a beautiful course with a great layout.

Like all the courses here in Cancun watch for the Crocodiles. Don’t go looking for lost balls.

Nice course with some holes with sea view

Very pleased with the golf course. Really enjoyed the views of the ocean and the staff was very accommodating. I was a single, teeing off at 8:00am. They told me I could go to the back 9 and I never had to wait until the last two holes I played. I would definitely recommend to playing here and you won’t be disappointed. Upcoming building are the only eye sore on a few holes.

Very easy to lose your ball if it gets away from you, so take plenty. Beautiful views and well manicured. Could do better on snacks and a bite to eat after nine holes. Keep it straight and you’ll score :)

The 2 days before we played the rain was relentless. I thought, there’s no way we would play golf and if by some small chance we did the course would be sloppy. I was really surprised, this course must have a great drainage system. If you come to Cancun play this course it is BEAUTIFUL! Very well kept greens were true and the held approach shots. The cost was only $100.00 which included club rentals. The staff was very friendly. Two thumbs way up.

I am a beginner and I got my lowest score today (94). Very happy.

A must play when in Cancun. Everything was fantastic! The course layout is better than those at Moon Palace. Course condition is PGA ready. The houses, highrises, and yatches made this place so interesting. Take ur time on holes 13th and 14th for some photo opts. Go play, you will not regret it.
