Red Hawk Golf Club

Red Hawk continues to stand out as one of the top golf courses in the region, offering a fun and challenging layout at a fairly reasonable price point. The scenic desert backdrop, creative hole design, and consistently good greens usually make it a go-to for golfers in El Paso, TX and Southern New Mexico.

That said, I was disappointed on my most recent visit. There was no notice on GolfNow or the course’s website about the ongoing construction. Unfortunately, none of the bunkers were in playable condition, and there was extensive work being done across several fairways and waste areas. It definitely impacted the overall experience.

I understand that maintenance and improvements are part of keeping a course in top shape, but better communication would have been appreciated—especially for those booking from out of town or online. Once the work is complete, I expect Red Hawk will continue to deliver a premier golfing experience. For now, it's worth checking in ahead of time to get a status update on course conditions.

I enjoyed the layout and the challenge the course presented. I was disappointed that there was so much remodeling going on. Made some holes hard to play with, so much green under repair. The staff was awesome. Very friendly and knowledgeable.

GPS yardage and scoring on the cart is awesome but the clubhouse is under construction and too many of the holes had ground under repair that were horrible.

This course is always solid. And conditions are usually good. Greens were pure and in great shape. Only downside is that they are working on the course a lot. Most of the bunkers are ground under repair as most of the bunkers are either being removed or redone. If you can do with a little construction going on in your backswing. This place is a must play. Staff is always great and courteous.

glad they have taken out some bad deep bunkers and the bunkers that are left have been upgraded. Looking forward to the new clubhouse / restaurant, bar and more to be completed and open.

We decided to play here the last minute when we were in town and we were not disappointed. Great track and wonderful staff Would definitely play again

Played on weekend, slow pace, most greens are sloped more water than expected. Watch out for snakes@

Great course, staff and amenities. Always enjoy my time visiting.

Course is coming along really fast, I see workers everywhere. Some holes are already completed, gonna be the best course in this surrounding areas . Clubhouse is huge.

Sand traps and fairways were under repair which resulted in my course ratings.

This course was the highlight of my trip on I-10! The pro shop was amazing. There are scenic views throughout the course. The greens were true. The fairways were in good shape and are being maintained. I will definitely be back!
