Colwood Golf Center

We tried to play Thursday Aug 1. Went early for the driving range. When we got there was told the driving range was closed because of a concert. No idea. The rude person inside said it was on the website. It was not on the website on Tuesday when we made the reservation. Since we could not warm up we canceled our tee time which was an hour plus away. When we got back home I checked the website. A really poor notification popped up about a concert that looked like it was just an ad. Could not even enlarge it to read it. Had no idea !!!. That ad was not there on Tues when we made the tee time. Seems odd that the driving range was closed but the course itself was still open. Will have second thoughts about golfing there again. The customer service that day was poor.

Had a hot deal set up and when I tried to check out, it said that deal was no longer available, so I tried to apply the current 20% off hot deals and it also disappeared. Then after I booked full price, both the hot deal and 20% deal re-appeared after the one hour no cancellation policy went into effect.

The service was amazing. The holes were kept in great condition. Everything was perfect great golf course.

Some tee locations are poorly labeled and are quite far from previous green. Last hole tee —-I never could find it.

This is a great course for beginners and for golfers that just want to have a little fun. The course is in average shape. The greens are slow and full of damage from ball marks. Golfers need to be more conscious of ball marks left and repair their own and even others found. This will not only help with maintaining the greens but keep it enjoyable for all golfers. The course was very busy and wait times between holes were long, sometimes up to 10 minutes. Just bring your patience and u will have fun.

Would recommend walking for sure it’s to short to ride the course

You play 9 twice for 18 holes not to challenging but pin placement can be tough so putting is where the course can bite ya

Would recommend to anyone just learning golf or trying to get a quick round in after work

I could not delete one of the reservations I made by mistake since it was within 24 hours so I immediately called the coarse between 8-5, no one answered and their voicemail was full. I was able to get a voicemail of their lounge and still no one answered but I was able to leave a voicemail asking them to drop the one accidental reservation I made. Totally my mistake but a bummer they do not answer the phones. I e played this coarse many times and it’s always enjoyable and will continue.

Very nice coarse right near the 205 freeway. Very nice driving range but not on grass if that matters to you. The coarse was well kept and fun for someone like me who is still starting out. Longest hole is about 200 yards from the blue tee. Most holes about 100 to 130. Only gripe was very limited carts and pull carts so maybe show up early and bully your way into getting one. So as long as you don't need a cart it's a great place to play!

I'm going to play this course as many as I want to and it's the perfect location since I play poker games in the afternoon almost every day. Poker location is about 5 minutes drive.

The course isn't that hard but it's so a relaxing and fun game to play and since I've played this course a lot and my best record is 37 strokes. yes, my skills aren't the best and lot of simple errors but I have improved a lot and looking forward to getting the best personal record THIS YEAR‼️

It had been a few weeks since the last time I got out on this course and it looks like Colwood might of had a rough August. Greens had lots of unrepaired ball marks and tee boxes were uneven from all the divots. Staff are always friendly and I'll still head back for 9 more chances at a hole-in-one.
