Overall a great bang for your buck
Nice course to play 18. The course offers a mix up of hole lengths to allow all clubs to be used. Greens are in okay shape. The pace of play is great. The staff does a nice job preventing overbooking.
Getting bad condition
The greens used to be one of the best in the area but the last time I played was so bad it looks like they are abandoning the course. I hope they are restoring back in good shape
Great value
This is a great course I play there once a week And our recommended to everyone The staff is great And greens are well kept If you've never played here Give it a shot you won't be disappointed
Great value for your money
I’ve played Rancho Del Rey for 30 plus years now and can attest that it’s in better condition now than it’s ever been. Considering it’s a public, semi private recourse that has endured recent droughts that limited their water usage, along with the recent lack of interest that has seen other golf courses close their doors. I think Rancho has done an excellent job of keeping the course in great condition and providing the nearby communities an awesome course for the public to enjoy.

Best value and easy for tee times
Great course with trees, water and 4 sets of tees. Senior club that meets every Tuesday morning. Check out the website.

Course in pretty good shape greens need some work ,but I think it’s a good lay out a fair test and staff really good.

Greens are really not in the best shape, but the course is in really in great shape! Had a great day today! Still is a really good track & recommend it!
Greens are jacked
Played here a lot over the years. Never have I seen the greens as in bad of shape as they are now. On the verge of not playable. Such a nice layout too. It’s a shame they’ve let it go.

Decent Course
I really like the course itself, it's fun and challenging. The only things that made it less than good were the rough, bouncy cart paths, sandy, patchy greens, and our golf cart died on the 16th hole. Other than that we had a fun, good time playing the course itself.

Good Deal & Track!
Nice course with just enough challenges! Each hole has it's own challenges! Can't let your guard down for a minute! From the Fairways the course can be had with good approach shots! miss the fairway, be careful & lucky to keep from having a big #! A great change from the usual tracks in the valley! Staff in my experience is one of the friendliest, Starters to Marshalls, Course Maintenance personnel! Always courteous and friendly!
A must play for any and all player ability!
Not bad for the price
Showed up, didn’t know the greens were being punched that day. Staff was nice and gave a discount. Unfortunately had to play the same 9 twice. Conditions weren’t terrible, considering what COVID has done to most courses. Fairway was fine, rough was okay, greens were punched, and bunkers were awful.
The worst part by far was the pace. A group of 5 carts of older below average golfers having a good time slowed everyone down. I saw a 2.5 hole gap in front of them at one point... the one time I want to see the marshal.
Would play here again but not for more than $40.

Good Bang For The Buck!
Good course to challenge yourself! Just enough difficulty to see where your game is! Solid test, enough bunker placements, breaks in greens, length of holes, no easy Driver, short iron holes! Big hitters would be challenged too!
Slow play
Nice golf course, play was very slow and had to call pro shop to get help. Need better marshall service.
