A good walk for a purpose
I used golfnow credit for payment. course is hilly but fun to play. I'm working on rehabing my legs from too much sitting, so walked course. Could only manage 9 holes before calling it quits.

Lots of par 3s with some par 4s. Nice course. Lots of bunkers some lakes. On the smaller side which makes for a fast game. Great place to practice your mid game and putting.

Greens urgently need improvement
The greens here are pretty awful - full of unrepaired pitch marks and mixed, uneven grasses.
Please get the green keepers at related nearby Brea Creek GC to take over the greens at Birch Hills. Brea Creek has such excellent quality greens, some of the finest in OC!!

Great course for the length.
Only a handful of holes over 200 yards. Fun course if you’re not wanting to play a full 4 hours or more. Greens are thin so ball rolls fast. A little patchy/bumpy at times but barely.

Always pleasant - greens need work
A lovely short course, a bit slow but always pleasant. The greens are in need of re-seeding in many places, and players clearly don’t always repair their pitch marks.
