Slow pace , confusing layout but decent overall
The course was very confusing as they start you out on like hole 11 which if it's your 1st time there .... You don't know it's different hole... and if you are keeping s
core electronically on your phone for an app... it can be frustrating at times, Anyways it was very confusing and crowded with too many threesomes allowed who then play multiple balls causing delays on every hole since majority are par 3's ...
Some of the greens were in pretty bad shape but considering how many knock it in continuously throughout the day I guess it should be expected. Overall I really liked the driving range and I would definitely return since it's a pretty good value.

Nice executive course. Friendly staff.
The staff was super friendly. The layout of the course is new, but this was the first time I played it, so I can’t compare it to the old layout. Overall conditions were okay. Quite a few unrepaired ball marks on the greens, which is to be expected on an executive course. A couple of the bunkers looks looked they needed some work, but overall good conditions. Quite a few short par threes with a handful of longer par threes. The par fours mostly under 300 yards, with 2 or 3 around 320 or so. Good place to work on your short to mod irons.

Nice course if all you want to hit is a sand wedge. Greens were nice but fairways and rough very dry and hard packed..

Great place to really hone your short game. Greens in great shape. Very friendly staff. Great BBQ burger and beer!

Worst Time Yet
Tee Time around 5. The pace of play was probably the worst I’ve ever experienced in the 10+ times I’ve played. Saying they were overbooked is an understatement. It was backed up the entire course so my friend and I couldn’t even jump ahead. Stop overbooking. My friend and I waited for a cart for well over 25 mins so that shows how overbooked it was.
The greens haven’t been maintained at all and the bunkers are a flat out joke now. Birch needs to hire more workers to at least do routine maintenance or at least put out the rakes so we can do it.
Look, it’s a great course when pace of play is good and the greens are decent. I do enjoy coming to Birch but man do they need to fix things so it ain’t so bad for future golfers.
It wasn’t worth the money yesterday, but i’m hoping it’s a anomaly.

Great Round
Challenging greens, forgiving fairways. Pace of play was excellent. Finished in 3 hours. Would definitely come back.
