Great course for northern suburbs
Great course close to Melbourne- greens, fairways were in great condition- GPS in the carts was fun!
Always in great condition
Love this course one of the best public courses in Melbourne and a personal favourite of a number of our social clubs players.- I paid $43.00 AUS dollars

Water Features
While the tee boxes are well maintained and look the part, that’s unfortunately where it ends.
The rest of the course felt like it was built on a swamp. It had rained the night before, but by 3pm the following day nothing was dry. Every fairway was muddy, with little sign of grass. The bunkers had turned into water hazards.
Pace of play was also very slow taking more than 4hrs to complete the round.
Perhaps a course that may play well in summer months?
Windy day. Course in reasonable condition
Apart from some slow players in front who obviously didn't understand many etiquette requirements & recent coring of the greens that meant slow pace & some soil spreading, the course was in good condition. Playing windy conditions but was not a huge impact on length.

Great day. Would have just been nice to have been told the greens had been cored. We would have changed our itinerary around a little bit.
Thommo design in Dry Northern Melbourne
Shades of Moonah Links open course here in this course in the dry, barren Northern lands of Melbourne.
Weaving through the Mandalay housing estate is the very nice and playable Club Mandalay. On this summer day the course played hard, fast and true. Greens are hard and smooth, and the fairways rock hard.
There are definite Similarities with Thommos other course - Moonah Open, with similar style bunkers and wide open fairways. The par 3s are well bunkered and challenging.
Could be muddy in winter which I heard is a little bit of an issue.
Nice club with bar and proshop. Hitting nets and practice putting green near pro shop
Well Worth It
Excellent golf course. Played it three weeks ago and it was baked. They have received rain since and course greened up beautifully. Greens a bit slow but manageable. Would definitely play again and recommend it.
Great value for money.
A very easy drive from Melbourne and great value for money. Would definitely recommend for golfers of all levels of ability.
