Skylinks at Buchanan Fields

Although not all five stars, they have come a long way. Every time I play there, I see more and more improvement. You can tell the new owners are passionate about making it better. It’s night and day difference now. Keep up the great work. I see five stars in the future.

Course is, as always, very 'sauvage' but super fun for a beginner like me! Great to practice and I LOVE the flora and fauna that are ever-present! :)

One bummer on this particularly BLAZING HOT day was the lack of water cart - we did not see it ALL DAY - we had seen it a few days prior when we played, but on a 104' day it is a bit irresponsible to NOT have that circulating for people. Just a note! But overall fun and good experience. A good value for the price. Thank you!

For less than $20 this is a steal! The greens are SLOW and the course is in the process of being rebuilt, so temper your expectations and just have fun. For a true beginner or a quick round of 8 (I finished in 1-1/2 hours) this is perfect. Full range, chipping green, putting green, beverage cart, snacks, taco truck…what more do you want for the money really? I’ll be coming back for sure.

For my 12 year old who is learning, this is a wonderful course. Nothing too long, some trees as a challenge, and great staff and people. Overall, a good starter course well worth what you pay for it.

Some minor issues - lots of squirrels and gophers, but overall, I think for the price and the staff (they also have a taco food truck that was very good), it's worth going to and we plan to continue coming here.

I played a round at this course with family, was not expecting much, however was pleasantly surprised by the wonderful relaxed ambiance, nice background music at the practice range, cold beers and the 9 hole course was dint to play.

Since Buchanan has been purchased and renamed to Skylinks under the new management, I have seen nothing but improvement and positive change. The course upgrades have all helped make the course more enjoyable and family friendly. Great course for beginners, kids learning about the game of golf, or just getting out to hit some balls. I look forward to playing more often at this up and coming 9 hole course.

I played golf with family and had a good time. We started at the range for warm up and noticed the hitting bays had new mats and colorful pictures painted on them. Also , we received good service from the young man with good hair in pro shop👍

Not the fancy courses that many people like, (including myself), but a decent course to hit some balls, work on various aspects of your game & get a little exercise in the sunshine. Perfect place to hit the driving range & then slide right over for a quick 9 Holes to help transition your “practicing” into “practical” golf shots.

Quick, economic & no hassle.

Course looks good. Lots of work done on it. Staff is amazing, Nancy is welcoming and very professional. They are keeping grass well maintained and you can’t beat the price. New owners making it a great place to play

Played the course for the first time in a year or so. I've enjoyed the new and improved range area but haven't had a chance to get on the course. The course is in the best shape ever. The whole course is green again. The tee boxes were in great condition. New tee markers, trash cans, and other amenities like large benches. The fairways were green and we'll groomed. The fairways were dirty and rittled with gopher holes. The bunkers were filled with sand again. I they look and play great. Greens were in great condition and pin placement was challenging. I noticed many improvement projects in progress. The course is really coming together. I would definitely recommend.

Reserved via Golfnow. Played course around 10am to get exercise. Starter allowed me to join a twosome earlier than my tee time. Overall, course is short and is good for beginners. Grass pretty high on tee boxes, fairways. Greens very slow. Bunkers hard n need more sand, but playable. Because most players are beginner level, expect slow play. Took me 2 hours to complete this short par 31 course. This is an enjoyable course as long as you have the right expectations.
