Manteca Park Golf Course

Greens usually in good shape and fairways are a great advantage rough is rough.

This is a very nice public course. The prices are reasonable enough to encourage me to return from San Ramon. The greens are beautiful and fairways consistent and fair. I will return.

Overall the course was very good. Being a Saturday pace of play was 4 1/2 hours but marshalls were not doing a good job, could have been moving better. Had a twosome in front of us that had nowhere to go and a twosome in front of them, should have paired the four up, could have been a much better round of golf
Marshall never got it done even after two times suggested. Marshall was seen twice and both time using his cell phone ( Bad Management )

Great course, a little slow but not ba for a Saturday. Outstanding conditions great staff.

Greens were immaculate shape. Fairways decent shape considering they have to deal with drought season.

They over water the greens. Every putt hops and wiggles because of footprints. Water the greens less. it will help for a true roll and we're in a drought manteca. Get with it

For those who like a flat course and don't mind long yardage .. this is the course for you. Considering the drought the course was very green and the greens were very playable and rolled well. Distance is not my forte so for me the course is too long to be enjoyable. This doesn't bother most people so I think the course is very playable and a good bargain for the price.

Something I notice about this Golf course is the trees It is challenging to the player if you are not carefull about ball placement.If your ball roll under the tree just hit it enough to go back to the fairway for the next shot to the green.Most of the trees are high that most of the times your ball cannot go over the top.this is the difficulty I found.Chose correct club for the distance is important is a must to injoy playing in this course.

We played as a foursome, and the course was in great shape. Very good layout for players who aren't great at shaping shots or making difficult putts. Everything about the course itself was very nice, especially for the cost, but we ended up having to wait at every single hole for about five minutes to tee off. It adds up, and the round took over 5 hours to play, despite how short the course is (I believe there are only one or two par 5's.) There was a marshall around, but we only saw him once or twice and he was never near us. We ended up skipping a hole to pass a group of five that was ahead of us, and that helped a little bit, but we soon caught up to the group in front of them, and we were waiting every hole again.

This is one of the nicer courses in the central valley and very reasonably priced for the quality of play. The staff is very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly.

Best value hands down in the entire valley. Greens are consistent and my guess is that the stimp is around 8/9. The traps are below par and need another few inches of quality sand. . The on-course rest rooms are clean and well kept!'
Some fairways are a bit narrow but that adds to the challenge.

The greens on the front were smooth and running about a 9-9.5. Fairways are in very nice condition on this afternoon. You must have control of your ball off the tee or mistakes are costly here, as the huge assortment of trees ( Eucalyptus, Redwood, Oak, pine and more line the fairways, and a few holes are very narrow) make this flat layout worth more than the fee itself. Strategically placed ponds ( very clean, Lake Tahoe clean today) add to the fun as I don't recall even 1 fairway bunker on this track, but fair and well kept greenside bunkers abound.
I will play this course more often in the future.
Play was surprisingly fast ( 3:50 min.) for having so many walkers and a couple 5 somes ahead of us.

Great value, very good upkeep and maintence for a public course.

Fairly priced and fun to play. Trees line both sides of fairways on many holes; Par 3 are fun holes with one tee to green over water. Staff very friendly and helpful. Wife and I enjoy play this course.

Lots of trees require consistently straight shots. Great course to play.

Some couse want over 60 dollars to play and cannot compare to shape Manteca is in. I have been to many overpriced golf courses that do not have grass in the fairways and sometims around the greens.
I know when I play Manteca I get a fun challenging place to play and the couse will always be in good shape.

Staff remembers my name and always is helpful in getting me onto the course early. Every once in a while I will get stuck behind golfers but at the same time everybody pays to play so I am not upset by waiting a little bit. Always have a great experience getting paired up with other golfers. Overall it is a very nice course and will have my business for many years to come.
