Course maintenance gone
The entire course is run down. The grounds are maintained at all. If nowhere else has open T times then I guess something is bette than nothing.
Great Staff, Rough Course
The good: the staff!!! Super friendly, helpful and laid back
The bad: Course is rough, can’t even putt the greens because of little crab grass growth
Fine for the exercise, but not a place to practice your game.
Please fix the greens
I really enjoy this place, unfortunately they really don’t put much effort into fixing the greens. At this point they are all so bad they should just teat them all up and re-sod them and people will come, putting is crucial in golf and this course just needs that and it would be way more desirable
Fairway greens
Three of the greens were in such bad shape they moved the hole and flag out in the fairway..
Your short game, beer course.
Great cheap little course. Ideal for going out and having some beers and working on your short game. It’s a course you don’t have to take too seriously. The par 4’s are tiny and currently the temporary greens are awful; but the price is right for a good time!
Bad A
Came here on a Sunday because all other tee times everywhere else were booked. Great course for just that. Extremely cheap even without the hot deal. Lots of trees so this will probably be the beer course over the summer. Overall good time.
My 1st Two Star Review/No Play Recommendation
I live about 10 minutes from here and I played on a Wednesday afternoon at the end of a 4 rd tour of 9 hole courses in the area. This was by the worst experience for one reason only. The condition of the course is just a sad state of affairs. As you can see by my pictures, multiple greens have disintegrated or died. I never mind if the rest of the course is brown or dry but if the greens are essentially sand, that is a bad sign.
I would recommend playing here if you are trying to check off Escalon off a list or are a beginner looking to learn. I have heard rumors that the property is up for sale so I am not sure how long this little par 3 course will be around.
