Kissing Tree Golf Club

We had a good time with three golfers each at different skill levels. Course was difficult, but not so much that it left anyone frustrated. Greens are in great shape! Would love to play again.

We really enjoyed playing here. Range is included, carts have GPS, we played on a Sunday afternoon and did not see any other golfers while we were on the course. Great, wide fairways with well maintained greens. The scenery on the back 9 is pretty good. We will be back to play here again.

This course is so fun to play. It really is hard to land in unplayable areas here, and the way the course conditioning makes you ball sit up, it takes away all your excuses for not making good solid contact. The greens are so smooth and roll true. I'm not a member of KT, so I csn't play here regularly, but when I have visitors, I'll go straight to Golfnow to book a time here.

Greens were great a little sandy but fast and true

Excellent conditions - greens very fast. All staff was great and accommodating. Played 2x in a couple days. Beautiful scenery and practice area!

First off, ignore all the reviews that say it’s the best course they have played in Texas, or well worth the drive from Austin or San Antonio.

Now, with that said, I’m a +2 and shoot low 70s all the time. Got a deal on GolfNow so me and a buddy drove 80 miles up to play it.

Easy check in and friendly staff. Big driving range with good lies and grass. Great chipping and putting area. Balls are included in price.

Course is short at 6500+yds, and is built in a senior residential community. Front 9 has a great layout and mix of holes that runs through the housing development.

Back 9 is a completely different course built up in the hills with blind shots, and most all shots being either uphill or down. This is not a negative, but the 2 9’s just don’t blend.

Course conditions were very good. Tee boxes and fairways were well maintained as were the bunkers.

The greens were great. Not really fast, but not really slow either. Rolled true and consistent. But again, the back 9 greens are totally different in that they all have many separate levels and tiers. If you are on the wrong tier - good luck.

Overall - we liked the course, the staff, the conditions, and the layout.

Would I play it again? Sure - if I was in the area, and I got another deal on GolfNow. It’s a decent track, but sorry guys, both Austin and San Antonio have good courses too, for a lot less.

May turn into a top 200 under 100 value. This course’s layout is one of the best in Southern Texas. Played in the evening, pace was wonderful! 3:05 for a 2some. Conditions were perfect. A lot of construction going on but doesn’t detract from the experience. Go play before it turns private for the 55+ community.
