Good experience
The course is in great condition. It is very beautiful Hill Country scenery, although this is rapidly changing due to the significant number of houses being built on or near the fairways/greens. Played the round in 4 hrs 15 min, which was also acceptable.

Overrated
Course was not in very good condition for the price and considering it’s semi private. Course was very spread out and zero facilities for restrooms-the one on the back nine was”Out of Order”! Pin placements were ridiculous and as though set for a club championship! The really only positive was the couple we were playing with-Thank you Eric and Denise!

Worth The Drive
This is my second time playing this course. Wow what a gem. Today the conditions were better than the last time I played, but it was windy, so on some holes it played crazy LONG!, but on others the golf gods smiled on me, and I hit a drive 377 yards because of some help tin-cup style (ala the cart path).
I would play this course anytime... the only challenge is that it is a 45 minute drive for me, but well worth it. If you live in the San Antonio area, take the drive to come out here and play, you will not be disappointed.

Nice Layout, a fair bit of construction around
The course was in pretty good shape, except for some of the cart paths were being worked on and we had to travel around them. Also, it looked like sprinkler system was redone on many holes leaving some rough spots. But overall enjoyable experience and staff were great.
