Shadow Mountain Golf Course

1. The greens were way too long and fluffy, Supposedly to save water.

2. Entire surroundings reminds you of Florida

3. Probably an old golfers course for locals.

4. Play was very slow.

We were a twosome stuck behind a older, very slow foursome. They never asked if we would like to play through. We were waiting on every hole. By the time we got to 18 there were 4 open holes in front of them. No sign of a course marshall until we finished 17, and he was just looking for a lost golf club.

Might as well leave the driver at home. This course is absolutely crammed in to about half of the space you would typically expect while golfing. Very, very short. Lots of par 4s under 300 yds. We'll maintained and the staff was friendly. We bought a couple hot dogs at the turn that were as low quality as you could get. Had fun but won't be coming back as there are a lot of better options out here.

The course is very fun and in good shape. All the staff were very helpful and friendly from start to finish.

The course is very nice and casual. The staff is very friendly and helpful for someone playing the course the first time. The greens were much slower than expected.

A fairly short course.. Very compact use of land with some fairways fairly close to each other. Greens were quite slow which made guessing speed a challenge.

Overall a fun and enjoyable round.

everyone on the staff were super welcoming and very friendly -- course was fun - pace was a tad slow but still enjoyable . You wont be disappointed .

Greens are not cut properly. Fairways too close to each other. Lots of beginners. Not fun for good golfers.

A sad and tired little course in the middle of palm desert. The staff is in good spirits but there is not much to work with. Very busy and 2 hrs for nine is ridiculous when the course is only 5000yds long. I wish them luck.

Have played here many times and this time we actually walked off the course on 14 as the course is priced so that beginners come there and they don’t know what they’re doing, hitting into houses other fairways yelling, blasting music, screaming, partying wearing tank tops and jeans, which is unacceptable in any Golf situation. It’d be nice if they were asked to wear proper attire and have proper etiquette prior to coming to the course. !

Appreciate having a Marshall out on the course to keep it flowing! We played before and it took way to long when customers are disrespecting there are many of us waiting and lined up!

Conditions were good and it was pretty but too compact for me. Some tees were too close to adjacent holes. Staff was very friendly and had a cute putting green.

The weather was perfect, and I was looking forward to the round. I was not paired with anyone, and that resulted in endless delays in play. A few groups offered to let me play through. The course was populated by mostly senior citizen couples who were incredibly slow, social players, with carts that were old and slow. I'm also a senior citizen at 82 years old, but a fast player, and it was tough to wait so much. I skipped several holes, and fortunately was able to start on 10 again and finish the back nine in about an hour. The course layout was tight on the front nine, with narrow fairways near houses, but opened up more on the back nine. The course was in good condition with moderately slow greens. It was a course I would play once but not repeat.

We loved the course. The greens were slow but in great shape and the fairways were awesome. They could use better signage to the different holes, but other than that we enjoyed our visit.
