This place is incredible. Best golf experience of my life. Played it twice in April 2014 during a golf trip and have been talking about it, looking back at pictures, etc. ever since. Definitely try to get on here if you can, you will never forget it! Entire course is kept in IMMACULATE condition. It's as if you are hitting off a perfect carpet of tee boxes and fairways. The caddies are great, and are needed, as there is a lot of local knowledge that goes into posting a low score here! All said, you will be astounded at the views, love the golf, and possibly see a big horn sheep on the encroaching mountains.

Stone Eagle Golf Club is a Tom Doak masterpiece and the only Tom Doak designed course in Southern California. The course boasts the most breathtaking views of Palm Desert and beyond and is laid out over a spectacular piece of land tucked at the base of the Santa Rosa Mountains. The stunning design appears to be a painted canvas at first glance as it fits perfectly against the rugged mountain terrain. While it may look intimidating at first glance, the layout offers generous landing areas making it suitable for all levels of play. There is even a true 19th hole which is perfect for settling friendly bets or simply getting one last hole in before you leave. The Aerie restaurant which is perched atop a rock peak overlooking the course and valley is equally as impressive and a perfect place to grab a bite and reflect on an amazing day of golf. Stone Eagle is truly the hidden jewel of the desert and a must play on your bucket list! In one word, remarkable!
