Course has a nice layout, very nice practice area, large practice green that actually mimics greens on the track (not often the case).
Enjoyed playing Webb’s Reserve with my wife. Tee box options make it easy to find appropriate hole lengths for all levels of play. Wind can be a big factor, so keep that in mind when selecting clubs. I’d suggest taking more club than you think you need, particularly on the par 3’s (short shots will cost you). Greens right now in Jan are hard and fast. Stay below the hole on approaches or you’ll risk 3 putting. The only negative is the bumpy cart trails between holes in new construction areas. Lack of signage in some areas might also be a negative since green to tee distances can be long (ie. Hole 17 to 18).
Could Have Been a Nice Day
We played Webbs Reserve on 1/17/26. The weather was perfect (74 degrees, sunny) and the course was in good shape with fast greens. However, I won't come back because the rangers ruined the experience. If my group is keeping up with the group in front of us, that's as fast as we can go. Despite that, the rangers spoke to us 4 times about slow play. There were two of these that bothered me particularly. On the 8th tee (a par 3), we had just waited about 3 or 4 minutes for the group ahead of us to clear the green. Nonetheless, the ranger came up to us and spoke about slow play. This bothered me but later in the round, I was over it. Then, just to top it off, we're on 18 (still just behind the group in front) and the ranger spoke to us again about picking up the pace. At this point, we were 100 yds from the 18th green! He acted like he was kidding and maybe he was but it the absolutely last thing I wanted to hear at that point. Won't be back.
Great layout, awesome staff, cool range with future features coming.
This course hasn’t been around for very long, but it’s already in great shape. The bunkers are well maintained with quality sand—not the hard, dried-out kind you see at some courses. The greens are in great condition and offer the right amount of challenge without being overly difficult. The course itself is fairly open and forgiving, making it enjoyable for golfers of all skill levels.
They recently upgraded the carts now that the clubhouse is nearing completion, and I really like the setup—especially the cup holders and phone mounts. The practice facilities are excellent as well. The range includes a large putting green and a separate chipping and bunker practice area. The range is also being upgraded with a two-level tiki bar, which looks like it will be a great spot to relax after a round or even after a practice session. There will also be a dedicated tracer bay area under shade, which is a nice touch.
I often drive from Cape Coral to play here because I enjoy the course that much. On the back nine, there’s a restroom accessible via a code displayed on the golf cart screen. It’s a clean, drive-through style setup under a small building that also has a water and ice machine with complimentary cups, which is a great convenience.
My only two complaints would be:
1. The front nine really needs a permanent restroom instead of the current porta-potty.
2. The driving range can get very busy at times and occasionally runs short on balls. Since it’s a floating range, I understand that retrieval can be slower during peak hours. I’ve never experienced this issue during early morning rounds, but it tends to happen more often after 1 PM.
Overall, this is a fantastic course and well worth the drive.
Excellent conditions
The course is very nice, greens are challenging and very nice. Layout is also very good. We will for sure come back.
Great value!
I have been fortunate enough to play a lot of the very famous well-known courses in the United States. In this course has the potential to rank up there with the great ones! Lots of room on the fairways to swing away in the greens were very consistent, firm and fast.
Good Course
Course was in good shape. Lots of construction going on in the area. Difficult getting to the course. Course will be great in time as it matures. Would play again.
Barry
It has grown in nice in one year, it was in great shape for a course that new.
Above-average real-estate-surrounded golf
Many real-estate golf courses are, to put it bluntly, not about the golf. The course is mainly a green space that homes overlook, with homeowners paying a premium for that privilege. So it is encouraging to see a course like Webbs Reserve, with a bit more thought put into the design, albeit with a characteristically circuitous (and utterly unwalkable) routing. I really like some of the greens here, especially the short par-4 4th, a long, rippling rectangle.
Best
this course is one of the best i have played for the money, Greens are lighting fast and in perfect condition. Layout is challenging but gettable if your hitting it straight
Webbs Reserve
Great course and staff, fun driving range and chipping/putting.
Neighborhood around course is under construction and many cart paths are dirt w/ potholes (course cart paths not complete due to neighborhood construction) it would be nice to have contractors lay gravel and compact where paths are currently dirt.
Course is beautiful with lots of long holes. I’m a beginner so it is challenging, can’t wait to come back and play again!
