Great New Course
If you are looking for a public option in the Ft. Myers area, it is worth taking a drive out to Babcock National. Fun layout, great conditions. Will only get better with time.
Seip
Enjoyed the not withstanding some construction still underway
excellent greens
Best greens around. Fast and true. Wide fairways. The
bunkering around greens will challenge the best golfers
on approach shots. Best value in SW Fl.
Great Course
We played the course on 12/28/21. The course was in great shape. It's an easy course with wide fairway's. The only concern is the pace of play. We play at a 3.25 hour pace and it took over 4+ hours today. Other than the very slow pace, it's a great course for the money. Only recommendation would be to add amenities in the club house. It would be great if we could have had a bite to eat after today's round.
Well Worth The Money
The course is very enjoyable. You have some water and sand traps to contend with but with open fairways, you will have room for those "not so straight" drives that end up in bad rough at other courses. Study the hole before teeing off, as there are several hidden water inlets that may require you to hit your 3 wood instead of a driver. From Tee Box to Green, the course is immaculate. If you are playing around lunch time and expect to buy food on the course, it won't happen. The only food options are snacks and drinks that you can purchase in the pro shop or cart girl. This is my only negative but it wouldn't' stop me from playing again. The course is great and the price is right. Heritage Landing is like their sister course and even though I personally like the layout of HL a little better, this course is a very close second. Highly recommend both. For reading this post, you've earned a mulligan. Enjoy your round.
